Day 89 (26/03/10)

I love my printer and was telling my family how good it is and that I hadn't needed to change a cartridge yet, despite printing loads for the courses and loads of Thomas's photographs for his course, then my black ran out.

I don't mind, I reckon it lasts at least three times longer than my old printer cartridges and probably only costs twice as much, so I'm.................. ......... ......... ............ ............. I don't know, I'm not Carol Vorderman

Update - 17:15 - I have decided I have a sex obsessed computer, not that it was taking me to a porn site on the internet but I was writing a report, where the subject was from Bearsted in Maidstone.

What a choice I had from the spell checker, but none of them were appropriate.

  3. I thought I could work this one out but I was kidding myself. I've asked Elaine who came up with you being both one third and 50% better off depending how you look at it, by cost or amount of printing done. In an effort to get a definitive answer I rang my friend Katie who is supposed to be a maths genius. She told me you are 100% better off, which can't be right.

Perhaps you are better off at a quantum level meaning you would be one third, 50% and 100% better off all at the same time but we wouldn’t know how fast you were travelling? This raises all sorts of other questions like are you really better off? Do you in fact have a printer? And most importantly, why can’t we work this simple problem out?

Given the immensity of the universe and possible multiverse, the significance of the printer on such a universal scale means that its presence in the space time continuum is negligible. Therefore, not only are you not better off, you don’t actually have a printer and in fact you do not exist. I hope that answers your question.

  4. I'm confused, I don't think I will print handouts anymore, I might just give the delegates a memory stick, but will it be cheaper. NO, lets not get started on that one.
