Day 4281 (20/09/2021)
A busy day in the office, so went to the gym a bit early.
In the afternoon I cut the grass, as the garden waste collection is restarting this week.

Day 4279 & 4280 (18 & 19/09/2021)
It's the weekend, so time to catch-up on work and to try and relax a bit. Saturday started with a nice breakfast (well after I had already been working for a while).
Did my take on a vegi KFC in the evening, which was very tasty.
On Sunday I did a slow cooked roast lamb dinner, with a nice vegi pie for Thomas.

Day 4273 & 4274 (11 & 12/09/2021)
A busy weekend, with lots to do but we had a nice breakfast to start with.
In the evening I made a tasty sausage (vegi), roast squash and gnocchi meal, in a mascarpone sauce, which was a recipe I saw at the gym.
On the Sunday I did a roast chicken dinner which was very nice.
Day 4271 (09/09/2021)
It was an early-ish start and a very wet one, as went up to Bristol for a funeral of my wife's aunty.
I'm not a fan of funerals at the best of times as I find them quite stressful and emotionally exhausting and this was quite eventful, very long and very religious, so not a good time.

Another day in the office and in the gym, with funny weather, hot then pouring with rain.

A busy day in the office and at home, with a local handyman clearing he gutters as we had a weed growing out of the top again and when it rained it was overflowing.
Then of to the gym.

Day 4266 & 4267 (04 & 05/09/2021)
It is the weekend, with a bit of time to relax. We started the day with a nice breakfast.
Then went up to Bristol to lay some flowers on Mary's grave as it will be 3 years on Monday. When the sun is out it is quite a nice place with a lovely view over Bristol.
Then went for a trip on the way home and ended up near Weston-Super-Mare at The Sands Hotel with a very nice sharing seafood sharing platter, mackerel pate, smoked salmon, half a pint of prawns, two scallops, salt and pepper squid with dips and pickles.
Then we went for a walk along the beach to watch the sunset.
Sunday I tidied the garden and then did a roast pork dinner.
With a cauliflower-cheese for us and a broccoli-cheese for Thomas.

Day 4263 (01/09/2021)
September already, how did that happen.
A busy morning then out to Bristol to meet up with some work colleagues over a few drinks and a meal.
The meal was nice but it is slightly depressing that half of the menu was not available.

A busy day in the office and I went out to do some enquiries as well for the first time in a year.
Day 4261 (30/08/2021)
It was bank holiday and my wife was at work in the morning. Then in the afternoon we went to see family in Bristol for tea & cake.
Then in the evening we stopped off for fish & chips at Weston-Super-Mare.
Day 4259 & 4260 (28 & 29/08/2021)
It was a busy morning, making a spinach & ricotta cannelloni and a lasagne.
Then setting up the garden and lighting the chimenea as it was a little bit chilly.
Food & company, with Gary & Elaine popping round, was great.
On Sunday I saw my mum and dad in the morning and then we finished off some of the left overs from yesterday for dinner.
