Day 3772 (28/04/2020)

It was wet & cold today, so not good.

At times I really couldn't remember what day of the week it was but it was definitely Tuesday and 6 weeks into the lockdown, which  I only remember as I drop off our cleaners money every two weeks (not that she is cleaning at the moment but we are paying her anyway) and I have done it 3 times and will have to do it again next week.

Day 3771 (27/04/2020)

Another day in lockdown, spent in the office.

I made a very tasty vegi spaghetti & meatballs in the evening.

Day 3769 & 3770 (25 & 26/04/2020)

It's the weekend and it started with a very nice welsh rarebit on crumpets.

In the evening I did a chicken-less chicken diner dinner which was nice.

Sunday, missing my usual breakfast croissants at my parents and obviously missing my parents as well but they are lovely croissants.

In the afternoon I did a quick roast chicken dinner.

Another day in lockdown, just in the office.

Day 3767 (23/04/2020)

Another sunny day in lockdown which I mostly spent in the office.

Day 3766 (22/04/2020)

Another sunny day spent in the office but managed to get out into the garden for a couple of hours in the afternoon.

 

Then I made a very tasty vegi special friend rice in the evening.

Another sunny day, which I spent mostly in the office but in the evening I made some pizzas.

 

 

Day 3764 (20/04/2020)

Another day at work in the office.

In the afternoon I gave the lawn a quick trim.

Then my wife gave me a quick trim :-)

   

Day 3762 & 3763 (18 & 19/04/2020)

The weekend started with a very nice breakfast.

I appreciate that we are very lucky, especially during the lock-down where so many people are suffering so much.

Was working in the office during the day and then I made a nice steak & chips in the evening.

I couldn’t get any crumble mix, so used a sponge mix on some frozen fruit, very tasty, with custard & cream.

 

Sunday I got my wife some flowers.

And made a nice pan fried roast pork dinner, which was very nice.

 

Day 3761 (17/04/2020)

A slightly different day today but only in as much as it was raining.

Day 3760 (16/04/2020)

Another similar but busy day at home.

My wife managed to buy some clippers, so it was haircut time for Thomas & me.

   

     

 

 

     

Quite impressive seeing as she isn't a hairdresser. 

And she made a nice squash curry in the evening.

Day 3759 (15/04/2020)

Another similar day but finished the jet washing by doing the path at the side of the house.

 

And even got the water feature out.

Day 3758 (14/04/2020)

Had a nice breakfast in the morning, then did more work in the office but nothing much else happened.

Day 3757 (13/04/2020)

Easter Monday but to be honest it could be any other day lately.

We had a nice breakfast in the morning.

Then did some more jet washing in the afternoon and even got the gnomes out for the summer.

 

Day 3755 & 3756 (11 & 12/04/2020)

It's the weekend, although most days have the same feel nowadays.

After doing some work in the office in the morning i carried on tidying the garden, starting jet wash the whole place over the next few days. It always looks so do cleaning the marble table after the winter and getting the patio slabs back to their real colours.

 

Then off to Tesco's, which slightly more relaxed than last weekend.

Did a vegi Chinese in the evening.

 

Sunday was another busy day bt started with some lovely pancakes made by my wife.

 Then after doing some stuff in the office I spent some time in the garden, filling up the bird feeder.

And doing more jet washing.

Some of the gnomes even came out.

And using an unused bench as my new herb stand.

Then I did a nice roast beef dinner in the evening.
