Day 3558 (26/09/2019)

Spent most of the day in Exeter at a meeting then back to the office.

In the evening my wife surprised me with a very tasty Asda pizza with a base made out of cauliflower, which was a wonderful.

Day 3557 (25/09/2019)

Just another busy day at work.

My wife made another nice dinner in the evening, with meatballs and mushrooms in a sauce.

Day 3556 (24/09/2019)

Tuesday started with a nice breakfast made by my wife.

Then I went to a friends funeral, which was a good funeral but was sad as he was far too young and I find funerals so emotionally draining.

Saying that it was nice to meet up with some people I hadn't seen for over 20yrs.

Day 3555 (23/09/2019)

It was supposed to be just another busy day in the office but it was an early start to get a flu job, as I'm now officially old.

Then there was news that my granddad in Cardfiff had died, so I had to go and spend some time with my parents. I hate deaths even though this one didn't effect me but it was very sad for my mum.

My wife made a nice chicken dinner in the evening.

Sunday 22 September 2019

Day 3553 & 3554 (21 & 22/09/2019)

It was an early sh start to get ready and pack the car up to take Thomas to Bournemouth to start at University.

It went quite well and Thomas's Student Halls are quite nice.

In the afternoon we left Thomas to settle in and we went off for a walk along the beach.

Then we went to Sandbanks for Fish & Chips.

On the Sunday I made lovely duck breast in a hoisin sauce with some veg for dinner today (plus quite a bit of wine) :-)

Day 3552 (20/09/2019)

It was the last of 3 days a training and it went well, probably one ofd the best demo's I had given of our software etc.

Then a long drive home, which took ages and was really tiring but as soon as I got home we went out for dinner, as it was Thomas's last night with us.

Day 3551 (19/09/2019)

Another day of training but today it was in a Wedding Chapel of a Registry Office :-)

Then it was a short drive to my third different Travelodge in 3 days, which was fortunately was opposite a Frankie & Bennys.

I think the afters was a bit too much but I felt I needed it.

Day 3550 (18/09/2019)

An early start getting to the venue and setting up to demo our software.

Then after a days training it was a drive across the country for tomorrows training in Derbyshire.

Went out for a curry in the evening, which was OK but not great.

Day 3549 (17/09/2019)

Made omelettes for me and my wife this morning.

Then plenty to do in the office and then a long drive up to Preston in the evening.

Monday 16 September 2019

Day 3548 (16/09/2019)

Busy at work, with lots to do as I'm away most of the week.

Did a chicken stir-fry in the evening with a very nice egg fried cauliflower rice.

Sunday 15 September 2019

Day 3546 & 3547 (14 & 15/09/2019)

The weekend is here but I had lots to do, that I managed to do much. Did a very tasty starter of salad & Rocket, with Parma ham and baked halloumi cheese, with balsamic vinegar.

Then did a lovely beef stroganoff with cauliflower rice for dinner.

I will making this again soon as it was lovely.

Went to my Mum & Dad's for breakfast, then back home and did a roast pork dinner.

Very tasty.

Day 3545 (13/09/2019)

It was a busy ish day, with dropping my wife's car at the garage and getting a smaller car to use for hopefully just the week as there is no way we will be able to move Thomas to University next weekend in it.

Then I got some stuff from the storage unit and then managed to sell one on the old bicycles in the afternoon.

In the evening I made the stuffed peppers again but covered it in spinach (to finish it off ), which was very tasty.

Day 3544 (12/09/2019)

A day busy at work but mostly recovering after getting up so early yesterday.

In the evening I went to a pensioners meeting, which didn't have food so I wasn't tempted to eat a whole pizza or sandwiches.

Day 3543 (11/09/2019)

It was a very early morning and off to Dublin for the day.

It didn't get off to a great start, with a bit of a disagreement with the crap scum that are employed as security at Bristol Airport. Certainly one of the advantages of moving to the other side of the country will be never having to use this airport again.

It was a full day in Dublin.

On the way back Dublin Airport was very busy and I again had extra security but their staff are nice, so it was no issue but I had a truly awful kale salad whilst waiting for my flight, which was delayed by nearly an hour :-(
