Day 2802 (31/08/2017)

In the office then in the gym.


Then off for an overdue haircut.



Then I picked Thomas up from the train station as he finally home now.





Day 2801 (30/08/2017)

Back in the office and back in the gym.


In the evening my wife made a very nice curry and thanks to a Jamie Oliver recipe she even made her own flat breads.

 

Very impressive.




Day 2800 (29/08/2017)

Back to work, with lots to do, as always but there was time for the gym.


I have gone back to doing one circuit, as I was getting tired again. To help my fitness I will shortly start play badminton with Thomas, which should be fun and good for us both.



Day 2799 (28/08/2017)

Bank Holiday Monday in a Travelodge, which was a bit basic but there was a nice Costa downstairs.


Then off to the flat for a mammoth cleaning session for my wife, with me & Thomas doing very little.


 Thankfully and slightly unbelievably we manage to get everything in my wife's car.
 

 

Then driving home we stopped at Reading Services, which had quite a nice choice of food places :-)

Day 2797 & 2798 (26 & 27/08/2017)

Lots of work to still do but we had a nice breakfast, using up the left over black-pudding.


In the evening we had a nice salad.


 Then cheese & biscuits with a glass of vintage port.


I think the port may been a bit too much.

Sunday was normal at the start, with breakfast at Mum & Dad's but then when my wife came home we drove over to London to help Thomas pack up his flat. After a few hours help in tidy up and pack things away we went for dinner in a lovely French restaurant at the end of the road.


 
 
 



Day 2796 (25/08/2017)

The end of the week and still had things to do.

I went to the gym but only did one set of routines but couldn't make it around again.


In the evening my wife made a meal that was on Jamie Oliver's new series, scallops, with crumpled black-pudding and crushed potatoes with peas & mint.


Not quite up to Jamie';s presentation but very tasty. It will me turn to make something from his show next.



Day 2795 (24/08/2017)

Another busy day in the office. At lunchtime I dropped Thomas off at the railway station, so he could go back to London to start tidying his flat.


Then off to the gym.


In the late afternoon we had a bit of a clear the air meeting with my business partner, who now seems a lot less stressed and so a bit more reasonable.

Day 2793 (22/08/2017)

Well things have taken a bit more of a down turn in my working relationship with my business partner. I have decided it's probably best if we don't talk and only email about work issues but he still doesn't seem to understand that this is actually quite nice & grown up on my side as previously I would have punched him in the face and told him to fuck off.

The gym was exhausting.


As well as being exhausted after the gym I was starving but thankful we had some french bread at home, great with some cheese, tomato and pickle :-)


I have started tidying up all the crap in the house and burnt out my shredder so had to buy a new one but they didn't have any large ones so hope this will last.


My wife made some Chinese thing for dinner, quite nice :-)





Day 2792 (21/08/2017)

The start of another week, so more admin and more putting up with my business partner who seems to have forgotten the partner part of that and likes to treat me as if I work for him. It didn't go down well.

Then off to the gym, where this weeks routine is now 5 minutes on the cross-trainer and then reps of 20, 15, 10 & 5 on some weight machines and sit-ups (which was knackering), then another 5 minutes on the cross-trainer and another round on the weight before a few minutes on the punchbag.


Totally knackering.

In the evening we had some more of my wifes lovely ice-cream.

Day 2790 & 2791 (19 & 20/08/2017)

The weekend, with still lots that needs doing but aiming to make a nice dinner tonight.

Had to do the recycling but there was a long queue (why do I always forget to do it during the week when everyone else is at work).


Then had to go thru the car wash as some time this morning my car had been used for target practice by a flock of birds .




Inspired by Celebrity Master Chef I was inspired to make something special for dinner, with gnocchi and mushrooms & spinach in a cream sauce for dinner, which was very nice.





It was only when we sat down to dinner did my wife remind me it was what she had for dinner when we went out last week (which I had finsihed for her).


Sunday Thomas and me went for breakfast at my Mum & Dad's then off to Tesco's to get the stuff for dinner and bought my lovely wife some flower.

We had sushi for starters.


Then I made a very nice pan fried cod in butter sauce with vine tomatoes & prawns with new potatoes & samphire, very nice :-)

 





Day 2789 (18/08/2017)

End of the week and although I swear I have done lots there is so much admin still to do.

Off to the gym and another week completed but it means next week I must add more to my routine.


In the evening we had a very nice diner with some very posh fish fingers, then some home made raspberry ripple ice-cream which my wife had made. Unfortunately I left my phone in the office so didn't take any photo's :-(



Day 2788 (17/08/2017)

Another similar day in the office, with lots of admin work to do,m then off to the gym.


When I got back I helped myself to a refreshing ice-pop, which i had asked my wife to buy for me as I thought they would be refreshing but have a lot less  calories than a proper ice-lolly.

Another similar day of lots of admin work in the office and then off to the gym.


We had our usual simple but tasty Italian in the evening but it Italian food always tastes better with a glass or two of wine, so I thought I might as well use some of the wine left over from Sunday.
