Day 3390 (12/04/2019)

Another busy day at work but with so much to do.

In the evening Lee came home for a few days, which was great.

Another day in the office where I achieved little, mostly because I had a few meeting, over Skype and over a cup of tea.

Day 3388 (10/04/2019)

It always takes me a day to recover after working away, so I didn't get much done today.

Day 3387 (09/04/2019)

Another hotel breakfast and then spent the day training before getting to the airport to fly back.

 

Glad to be home after a long day.

Day 3386 (08/04/2019)

Usual hotel breakfast, starting with fruit & yogurt but then I may have had a little bit of egg & bacon.

I had a few meetings during the day and then in the evening I had a burger and an apple tarte tatin.

 

Day 3384 & 3385 (06 & 07/04/2019)

The weekend is here and Saturday was fairly relaxing, with a nice brunch.

And a Chinese in the evening.

Sunday was busy with me visiting my parents for breakfast and then getting ready to fly to Dublin. 

The hotel, which I have stayed at a few times over the years is quite comfortable.

In the evening I eat at the bar at the hotel and had a nachos starter and a steak sandwich mains but they arrived together so I looked a bit piggy :-)

A cold & wet day out, I'm really looking forward to the summer (& a holiday) :-(

I wish I could relax this weekend but I have stuff to do tomorrow and then I have to go to Dublin on Sunday :-(

Another day in the office, with too much to do and achieving very little.

Felt a bit better after a good sleep. Had a very fruity smoothie.

 
 And a much needed haircut.

I got up at stupid o'clock to do some work and got quite a bit done but then felt awful for the rest of the day :-(

Had a nice breakfast.

I'm really trying to be good having lots of fruit and then a meal in the evening :-(

It's April already, how did that happen?

Worse than the year just flying by I now have an awful calendar picture of Kylie for the whole month.

Lets hope May's is a better.

Day 3377 & 3378 (30 & 31/03/2019)

Weekend here and I did a bit of work but not much.

The weekend started with some nice scrambled eggs & cheese with a bit of tarragon. Quite tasty.

Then in the afternoon we went to Bridgwater and Bristol to do the flowers, then stopped off for a hot drink & a cake on the way back.

Then home and I made a tasty chilli con carne :-)

 

Yum Yum Yum :-)

Then a big fruit salad, with some creme fresh, as I'm trying to be good at the moment (again). 

Sunday it was Mothers Day, so I went to see my parents for breakfast as normal then home to spoil my wife with some presents and a nice diner.

 

 It started with a nice caprice salad and some hot Italian bites :-)

 

Then a very tasty mixed seafood linguine. 

So bloody tasty :-)

Another busy day in the office and in the afternoon I did some more tidying up in the garden and replant some of the herbs and planting a few flowers.

A fairly busy day in the office and then made a nice dinner in the evening.

Tuesday back at home and our normal Tuesday routine, with Ann our cleaner being here.

Then in the afternoon I started getting the garden ready for the spring / summer, cutting the grass and unwrapping the plants.

 

Day 3372 (25/03/2019)

Another lovely breakfast at the hotel and then we had a drive around the area checking out a few places and a nice cup of tea on the seafront.

Then we went off to Worthing for a walk around and an ice-cream on the pier.

Then we had dinner at a very nice Italian in Worthing, courtesy of Lee for Mothers Day.

   

Then a long drive home.

Day 3370 & 3371 (23 & 24/03/2019)

Up early to do a few things in the office, then off to Brighton for the weekend :-)

We arrived in early evening and after booking in we went for a lovely curry with Lee.

On Sunday we had a nice breakfast at the hotel.

Then we went for a walk in the lovely sunshine.

At lunchtime we met up with Lee & Tim, what a nice young man. Then we had a nice chat over a jug of Pimms and then a walk along the seafront to the Harbour, where we had a coffee & shared some cake.

Then we went into Brighton and had walk along the pier & the sea front.

Then we went to a international buffet place in town.

A very good day.

Day 3369 (22/03/2019)

Another busy day in the office with a few good things happening.

In the afternoon I had a good meeting about my new company, which should move that ahead.

In the evening I sat down to watch the football but wa asleep before it had finished. I defiantly need a break :-(

Day 3368 (21/03/2019)

Another day in the office with loads to do.

The start of the day was quite negative in respect of work but ended quite positive, although with lots of changes later in the year.

Really looking forward to a few days away at the weekend.
