Day 3120 (16/07/2018)

It's Thomas's Birthday but I had to be in court in Bristol with one of my cases against the police. The case went very well and so should be finished shortly.

Then after a long discussion it was back home for family time for Thomas's Birthday.

In the evening we went Tiffins for an Indian Buffet which was very nice but I was quite restrained.

It was quite tasty, with a nice selection etc. 

Back on the beans on toast tomorrow.

Then home for the Birthday cake, which I declined :-(

Day 3118 & 3119 (14 & 15/07/2018)

Saturday but no nice breakfast as my wife was at work covering for somebody.

In the evening we had a nice Chinese take-away, which was great after another week of beans on toast.

Then with The Voice Kids on the telly I sat outside with an ice-lolly then watered the garden until the telly was watchable.

Then Sunday, World Cup Final day, my wife was working late. It was also still really hot, so I made a nice prawn cocktail dinner.

Then a Do It Yourself Eton Mess :-)

The World Cup finished with France winning and luckily I didn't quite come last in our fantasy league :-)

Day 3117 (13/07/2018)

Another nice day, when I managed to do a bit of work but not much.

In the afternoon I had another tomato & cucumber sandwich for dinner and then went to Bristol to "help" the PCC spend money on victims. They may not of actually welcomed my input but I was happy to give my views :-)

They had quite a few munchies & chocolate but I was good and just had a glass of water.

Whilst being good I did claim the maximum amount of expenses :-)

I must say I hadn't had a chance to walk thru this side of Bristol for years and it is now looking very nice, with lots of new bars & restuarants.

 

Day 3116 (12/07/2018)

It was much cooler with a bit of rain as I drove to Cardiff for a meeting.

There was lots of nice food at the event but I just had a bowl of fruit and a glass of water. 

I managed to escape a bit early and when I got back I discovered my wife had bought some more plants, to add to our garden.

So we now have a mini cucumber plant and a nice sun flower.

Developments with one of my cases against the police, which hopefully should be finished soon.

Another nice day, with me slowly getting back into work.

Day 3114 (10/07/2018)

Tuesday and a nice breakfast to start the day.

I planted the cherry tomato & chilli plants.

I went to a pensioners meeting in the evening but turned down the chance for a nice chilli & lots of cakes and had a tomato & cucumber sandwich sat in the garden before going out and took a box of fruit with me.

Day 3113 (09/07/2018)

Getting better, so started work early, not that it was much cooler.

Got some work done but still loads to catch-up on.

Obviously impressed by my growing herbs, my wife has bought some more plants, cheery tomato & chilli.
 

Day 3111 & 3112 (07 & 08/07/2018)

The weekend is here and I'm starting to feel a bit better.

We had a nice healthy-ish breakfast, with pancakes & fruit.

A quick look at my daily intake of antibiotics and multi-vitamins and cod liver oil things, which I'm remembering to take everyday, so hopefully I will be healthier than ever.

Then it was just about time for the football and England won, which seemed unreel from the norm.

In the evening I did a nice Jamie Oliver salmon dinner, with a few dded ingredients but it was very tasty.

I tweeted about it and even got a Like from the man himself.

Then I did a Jamie Oliver cream-less strawberry ice-cream which wasn't as successful as it ended up a bit like a half-melted sorbet but it was refreshing on a hot evening.

 

 

Sunday was a bit different as we were going out in the evening, so no time for a full Sunday Roast and a bottle of wine :-( so I did quite a nice sausage casserole thing (well it was a posh ready meal my mum bought but didn't want)

Then we went to see Chris Ramsey at Yeovil, which was very funny.

Day 3110 (06/07/2018)

Still not feeling great.

Still watering the garden in the cool of the evening. Impressed with how this little rose has come on over the last couple f months, as it was just about dead when I replanted it.

Day 3109 (05/07/2018)

Another hot day and another day of not feeling great. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick-in soon.

Had a rather short haircut for the summer, so at least my head is a bit cooler.

Day 3108 (04/07/2018)

I was still feeling rough, so decided to go to the Doctors in the afternoon and now I'm on antibiotics :-(

Hopefully I will be better in a few days but I shall be keeping up the diet and being good with no more biscuits & cakes.

Day 3107 (03/07/2018)

Had a nice breakfast, with poached eggs on mashed avocado on toast.

Back on the beans on toast, it only looks a lot as i finished off some soda bread with it. OK I also finished off the cheese & tomato from the Mexican but I hadn't had anything since breakfast. 

It was quite a result with the football as England actually won on penalties. Thomas watched it with friends in Bristol.

Day 3106 (02/07/2018)

Back to work but still feel under the weather :-(

Finished the Mexican tonight but will be back on the beans on toast tomorrow.
