The money will come in handy but I hate being away and will miss Thomas leaving to go to Crete for 3 months.
I got to the airport earlier in case there was bad bank holiday traffic.
On the plane from Bristol to Dublin was David O'Doherty, the Irish comedian.
He is the one in the blue baseball cap.
I am staying in the Gresham, which is a really posh (and expensive) hotel where me and my wife had a lovely afternoon tea a few years ago.
The room is nice but I only really booked it as it's just around the corner from the venue.
