 Just a busy day in the office and it feels like winter outside.

Day 3905 (08/09/2020)

Had some nice vegi bacon & sausage baps in the morning.

More sunflowers coming out buts its quite chilly out now. 

Day 3904 (07/09/2020)

Back to work and off to Collumpton to do some enquiries.

Then home in time to pick-up my new iPhone :-)

It's so nice to have a phone where the battery lasts for a day again, as my old iPhone lasted about an hour before needing charging.  

We have our first sunflower come out, as we enter winter. 

Day 3902 & 3903 (05 & 06/09/2020)

We had a nice breakfast in the morning at the hotel. There were a few changes from when we had stayed here before given the covid restrictions.  

Then we went off for a walk around Portishead, at the Marina.

Then at the Lido and boating lake.

Then home, with some hot-dogs and snakes for dinner.

Made a very nice spinach & ricotta cannelloni on Sunday.

Day 3901 (04/09/2020)

 Busy during the day and ran another online session. I'm sure they will get better and seem more natural.

In the evening we went over to Bridgwater as had booked a room at the Mercure Hotel and a meal at the Marco Pierre White restaurant, as I needed a break. We have stayed at the hotel before and we had a nice room. The hotel had quite strict covid restrictions but that wasn't a problem and was quite reassuring really. 

And the meal was lovely.

We even shared a cheese board and a glass or Port :-)

A lovely evening.

Busy during the day and ran a training webinar in the evening for Locate.

I'm not overly comfortable running webinars but I suppose I will have to get used to them. 

Day 3899 (02/09/2020)

Another busy day in the office but at least my teeth aren't hurting for now as they are still covered in whatever stuff was put on them as a temporary fixture.

It's September already, so time for a new Kylie calendar photo.

Then off to the dentist, where I was incredibly brave and had an injection and she started drilling but as it was my wisdom tooth there just wasn't room at the back of my mouth, so I will have to go to the hospital and have some general anaesthetic and have the tooth out :-(

Day 3897 (31/08/2020)

It was a Bank Holiday and my wife had to work first thing, so I popped into Columpton, then after lunch we went out and ended up in Minehead and had a nice walk.

And some fish & chips :-)

Day 3895 & 3896 (29 & 30/08/2020)

It's the weekend and we had a nice smiley face brunch.

In the evening we had an Indian takeaway delivered, which was lovely. 

On Sunday I took the opportunity to tidy the garden, as the grass was really longs and there were leaves and rubbish everywhere after the rain and storms of the last few weeks.

It looked much better afterwards.

Then we finished the Indian.

Just another wet and windy day with lots of thunder.

My wife made a lovely risotto in the evening but I forgot to take a photo.

 Not so windy today but still like winter out there.

Day 3891 (25/08/2020)

Had a nice breakfast to start the day (well it was brunch really but it was fairly first thing).

What a windy day, blowing thew plants over all day.

In the evening we took my parents out for dinner at the Rumwell Farm Shop, which was very nice.
