Day 4725 (09/12/2022)

A busy day in the morning, then in the afternoon I drove to Dorchester, to pick Thomas up so he could watch the football with his friends.

In the evening my wife made a really tasty kedgeree, which is one of my favourites.

An icy start to the day.

My wife went off to meet old school friends in Wells for the day and I had a busy in the office.

In the evening my wife popped out to the shops, on got me a battered sausage & chips on the way back :-)

We had some nice scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Then busy online the rest of the day.

An early start, with the plumber turning up and fixing a leak we hadn't noticed in the en-suite, then online to do a presentation.

Then to recover in the afternoon, as I felt a bit under the weather. 

Had some nice hot soup in the evening.

  

Day 4719 & 4720 (03 & 04/12/2022)

It's the weekend.

We went straight out, stopping for a Costa and then went to Bridgwater ad Bristol to lay some flowers on the graves, then had a McDonalds in Bedminster to warm up.

On Sunday I saw my parents, then got home and realised we had water coming thru the ceiling in the utility room :-( luckily the electrics remained unaffected. 

Did a Greek meal for dinner.

 Cold and misty all day. Busy in the office and went to the gym, with some nice fish & chips in the evening.

Unbelievably it's December already.

We bough each other the same advent calendar :-) 

It was foggy all day :-(

Used some left over pasta, goats cheese and prosciutto to make a quick & tasty lunch for us.

I went back to the gym today but it was another busy day at work, still cold and misty out, all day :-(

A busy day online, with a presentation in the morning and a session in the evening, just managed to catch the second half of the football.

Day 4712 & 4713 (26 & 27/11/2022)

And its' the weekend, with lots to do but looking forward to some time to relax.

I did a salad for starters, with Italian rocket, beetroot, goats cheese and prosciutto, with balsamic vinegar, very tasty.

Then, inspired by a recent meal we had in Dorchester I did a very tasty smoked salmon & crayfish pasta in a creamy tomato sauce for dinner.

On Sunday I did a very tasty roast pork for dinner, with mixed vegetables of potatoes, leeks, fennel & carrots cooked in a cream & Parmesan sauce :-)

A busy day online and as it was dry fo5r a few hours I tidied the garden again.

A very wet day, with monsoon rain in Taunton, in the afternoon I had a visit to the dentist to get a filling :-(

It is Lee's Birthday and we spoke to them but it was the first  time we didn't get to see one of the kids on their Birthday :-(

I was busy online and did a presentation in the late afternoon, then we had a lovely risotto in the evening.

A busy day, with lots of time online but a lovely pizza in the evening.

Day 4707 (21/11/2022)

We got a good deal so stayed over in a travel-lodge in Bournemouth overnight, so had a nice sleep and a relaxing morning. It was a shame that the weather was so bad but we went for a little walkalong the coast and had a nice brunch.

Then we went for a walk through the Christmas market and town, then had some lovely coffee & cake.

Then we went off to Weymouth for a walk along the seaside, where it was cold but dry.

Then off to Dorchester for a lovely meal before heading home.
