Day Three of our holiday, and after tea & biscuits at the hotel, we caught the bus to Kew Gardens, where we started with brunch, before having a good walk around.
There was a Henry Moore exhibition, with lots of huge statues around the ground.
We had a lovely time but were really exhausted after a full day of walking around Kew Gardens, so on the way back to the hotel, went straight to a nearby bistro, The Botanist On The Green, and had a refreshing G&T and some lovely tasty small plates.
We went for the small plates, of Pan-Seared Scallops, with crispy chorizo, lemon oil; Crispy Duck & Watermelon Salad, with teriyaki glazed duck, crispy noodles, pomegranate seeds; Burrata, with heritage tomatoes, black olive tapenade, sourdough crisps; & Calamari, with saffron aioli.
