On our holidays, well not going abroad and lazing by a pool, but having some time together and doing a few nice things.
So Day One of our holidays, and on our way to Bath we stopped off at Starbucks for a coffee & cake, then drove into Bath and booked into the PremierInn for the night.
We quickly got ready and then went to the Thermae Bath Spa, for a lovely Twilight Session, spending time in the hot spa’s water, in the rooftop pool, in the steamiest steam room we have ever been in, where you couldn’t see a thing and we struggled to walk in and find the seating area. We also went to the sauna and ice room, and indoor pool which had a nice whirlpool.
There is a strict no phones or cameras policy, which is good and makes sense, but meant we couldn’t take any pictures, so I’ve used some from there website.
Then we had a nice sharing platter, of cheese & biscuits and Italian meats, with a glass of Rose, followed by some cheesecake and a latte / hot chocolate.
Then we showered and got ready and had a walk thru Bath, back to our hotel room to relax.
