Day Two of our holiday and after a nice nights sleep we had a nice breakfast at the PremierInn, then we drove to London, thru awful rain.
We got to the PremierInn in Brentford and were able to check-in a bit early and have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit before getting ready to go out.
We walked for about 20minites to the nearest tube, and caught the underground towards Chelsea, where we went to Tom Kerridge’s new pub / restaurant, The Chalk Freehouse, where we were able to bring our booking forward, so were able to have the earlier set menu, which was really lovely and the service was really nice.
Then we walked back to the tube and got back to the hotel to relax.
Did quite a few steps today, mostly walking to and from the tube.
