Day 5936 & 5937 (04 & 05/04/2026)

The weekend is here, and I had a few things to do in the office first thing, then we had a very nice brunch, one of my favorites. 

Then out in the garden to tidy up a bit, however before I could do everything I wanted it started to rain but at least I got to cut the grass and put some bird food out. 

In the evening we went to a fairly new independent pizza restaurant in town, called Luda Crust, which was very tasty.  We sat next to where they were making the pizzas, which was interesting.

An amazing ham & pineapple (that description doesn't do it justice) pizza that was gone as quickly as it took to cook. 

With a lovely pistachio cannoli for afters. 

Then home to relax & recover. 

On Sunday, we were up early and went o see my parents for breakfast, then home to pack and off to Worthing for a few days.  We stopped off  in Salisbury for a quick pit stop at Costa, sharing a tasty toasted sandwich.   

We checked in to the Ardington, as we had managed to get a good rate ad had a nice room overlooking the green. 

After freshening up, we met up with Lee and went for a really tasty Sunday Roast at The Swallows Return.
