It was a somewhat busy day, and not exactly expected. Firstly, quite early BT turned up, without notice to dig up the driveway, to fit the new fibreoptic cable for our internet. Thankfully I was in, and able to move my wife's car, so they could carry on.
They did a good job, now we just have to wait for the fibreoptic connection to be fitted inside the house.
Whilst BT were here, the boiler man, who was expected in the afternoon, turned up in the morning. That was OK but he couldn't park on the drive, due to BT working on it, which was a pain for him but he was OK and the boiler was repaired and serviced.
I did some work during the day. We had some leftover pate when my wife came home and then in the evening she did burgers.
