Up early to get ready for a few days away. First, we were off to Worthing, to see Lee, and stopped off at Salisbury for a nice picnic, starting with some smoked salmon with crackers, then some fresh figs, then a nice coffee with a mince pie.
Then we got to Worthing and stayed at The Chatsworth, which was fairly nice, with a view of the green and the sea, but we had gone for a economy room, which had a slanting floor and ceiling, and made my wife feel quite sea-sick.
I went for the Crying Beef - grilled, marinated Thai-style beef medallions with charred edges & running juices. Served with a stir-fry of green beans, red onions, peppers & chilli, smashed cucumber salad and sticky rice.
Lee went for the halloumi & veg kebab.
Whilst my wife had Black Lobster & Crab Ravioloni - handmade crab and lobster filled pasta in a lemon butter sauce, tomato salsa, garnished with king prawns and Italian hard cheese.
