Day five at Preston. with a quick breakfast at the hotel before checking out and doing the last day at the University.
The students agreed to shortened breaks, so I was able to be on the road on my way home nice and early but was confused that the satnav was saying it would take me 5hrs to get home, and then say that the M6 was closed for 3 junctions, involving a detour thru some country lanes and small northern villages.
I managed to get home in just over 41/2hrs but it was absolute pouring with rain in Taunton.
Got home and collapsed and had some fish & chips for dinner.
