Day 5750 (30/09/2025)

A fairly early start today, as I had to be up to open the side gate as the scaffolding was finally being taken down.  They turned up early and thankfully were soon finished, although they then sat outside for an hour, killing time. 

We had a nice brunch. 

And a late lunch, of leftover Mexican, so didn't need dinner. 

Day 5749 (29/09/2025)

Back to work, entering another busy period, having to update all of the material for the University.

In the evening we had a nice jacket potato with the left over bolognaise.

Day 5747 & 5748 (27 & 28/09/2025)

Another nice night at the hotel, then off, stopping for brunch on the way home, via Cotehele, a National Trust place we hadn't visited before. 

Then home, to have our Cornish pasty. 

Sunday I saw my parents for breakfast, then I bought my wife some flowers and made a nice Mexican in the evening. 

Day 5746 (26/09/2025)

We had a relaxing start to the day, then off for a nice brunch at the harbour / marina.

Then we went looking at some interesting shops and had a nice coffee & cake. 

Then in the afternoon we had went on a tour of the Plymouth Gin Distillery, which was fun and very full of gin. 

Then off for some lovely fish & chips, with a sobering cup of tea, and starting with the best oysters we've had for a while. 

Day 5745 (25/09/2025)

We were up early and off to Plymouth for a few days.  

We had a lovely bottomless Prosecco Afternoon Tea at Marco Pierre Whites, which was in the Penthouse of the Crown Plaza, overlooking Plymouth Hoe. 

All very lovely. 

Then we had a slow walk back, thru the harbour and collapsed totally stuffed back at the hotel.
