Day 2953 (30/01/2018)

It was a cold and fairly early-ish start as I had to take my wife's car to the garage for a service & MOT but had to scrape the ice off the windows first.

The daffodils I bought my wife at the weekend are now coming out, making it feel like spring.

In the evening we went out to The Worlds End for my Mum Birthday. I had a nice tomato soup for starters.

Then a rib-eye steak, with peppercorn sauce.

Then a trifle, whilst my wife had fish pie and a coffee and walnut pannacotta, all very nice.

Then back to our for tea and cake :-)
