It was a busy day in the office, as I had a few reports to finish, as we are going off to Worthing for a few days.
In the late afternoon I dropped Thomas & Lemon off at the airport for Lemon Stag Do, so fingers crossed it all goes OK.
My diary of changing things in my life, my size, fitness, the state of my house and life. Not a big task then.

It was a bit of a windy night and rather annoyingly at about 3am, when Thomas was getting up for work, my little greenhouse got blown over and nearly all of the herbs I had planted last week were scattered over the patio and the pots broken. Thomas and my wife tidied things up a bit before I was even aware it had happened, so the photo look a bit tame.
So after doing a bit of work in the morning, I had to spend a few hours tidying up and re-potting the herbs, and I have now moved the little greenhouse and hopefully secured it enough that it wont get blown over again.
My wife made a lovely curry in the evening.
A relaxing start to the day with a nice brunch.
Then back to work and a bit of tidying up in the garden.
We had a tasty gammon in the evening.
Back to work, getting thru more University reports.
We finished off the mushroom gnocchi for a late lunch, so didn't have dinner in the evening.
The weekend and time t relax a bit. We had a nice omelette for brunch.
Another lovely sunny start to the day.
I was busy in the office, with a few work things.
Over the last few years, like most people, I have really cut down on what needed printing, especially compared to how much I used to print for work. In fact I would regularly get 1000's of sheets professionally printed for each course, so most times my office was full of boxes of the stuff. Now, with the new accountancy software, where I upload pdf & images of bills & invoices, I hardly print anything at all, and my physical company records are so much smaller this year than in other years. So a win win.
Had some nice fish & chips in the evening.
Another bright sunny day in Taunton.
I was busy in the office for a lot of the day but from the kitchen noticed lots of feathers in the garden, and when I explored found the remain of a pigeon, which looked to have been attacked by a cat. Annoying and messy.
We finished the leftover lamb & rice dish for a late lunch, so didn't have dinner.
We booked a holiday for June and a few rooms for days out, I'm really looking forward to relaxing with Mrs Smith.
I had a busy morning in the garden, re-potting the herbs and putting my new little greenhouse together.
When Mrs Smith came home from work we got changed and drove to Cardiff, to see Lou Sanders with my friend Sam.
It was a really funny show and a lovely evening, but a bit of a drive.
We had a relaxing start to the day and a nice brunch.
I then jet-washed and tidied more of the garden, then we went off to the garden centre, where we had a nice coffee & cake and bought some bits and pieces.
In the evening I made a tasty rice & vegetable dish, using the left over lamb (with a vegi option for Thomas).
I had guessed how to do the pickled red onion, which didn't quite work but it was all very nice, as I had used loads of season & herbs to cook the rice and vegetables, and the lamb really added to it.
Another dry but slightly chilly morning. After breakfast I started to tidy the garden for the summer, which was exhausting and I still have loads more to do.
The weekend and we had a bit of a lie-in and a nice late brunch.
