Day 3459 (19/06/2019)

Another day relaxing by the pool in the sun.

Then a cup of tea and some apple on the balcony. 

Then in the evening we walked to a local seafood restaurant for some nice food and more nice wine.

 

 

Weird but tasty fish. 

It hard to tell that we had been drinking :-)

Day 3458 (18/06/2019)

After a nice nights sleep we had a nice breakfast, which was very good considering we were in Bulgaria :-)

OK this looks like my wife is being a piggy but we did actually share them :-) 

Then off to relax by the pool for the day.

 
Then another night at the hotel restaurant and another bottle of Bulgarian Rose.

Another lovely salad.

 

 

Then a mushroom risotto and a seafood risotto, both very nice.

Day 3457 (17/06/2019)

It was a very early start for our 6am flight. Even getting to the airport parking 2hrs beforehand we only just made the flight thanks to delays at check-in and at security.

 

Bulgaria was very hot when we arrived, apparently it was 40degrees, so it was a hot drive to the hotel.

The hotel was lovely when we arrived and everything that the many positive reviews had said. 

   

 

We had a lovely air-conditioned room, with a balcony over looking the pool.

After we checked in we had a cooling drink and a lovely salad.

 

Then we relaxed by the pool before getting ready having a wonder around and then going for dinner at the hotel, which was very nice. Very impressed with the local Bulgarian Rose :-)

 

 

   

I had lamb and my wife had pork

Then an odd extra course,instead of the lattes we ordered. 

And some nice ice-cream.

A very good fist day.

Day 3454 & 3456 (15 & 16/06/2019)

Another early Saturday off to Exeter for more Missing People exercises with some Police Cadets, which went quite well.

Then home for dinner.

It was Fathers Day on Sunday, so we had my Mum & Dad round for a nice roast pork dinner.

 

 

The dinner was lovely but I forgot to take any pictures of the actual dinner :-(

 

 

Then it was time to get ready for a well deserved holiday.

Day 3453 (14/06/2019)

I was aiming to finish the training videos today for work before going on holiday but my business partner really pissed me off, so I told him he was being a prick and that I will be retiring in December and will be winding down my involvement with the company.

That didn't go down well but oh well :-)

Anyway I had to pop out with Thomas and had a stop at a burger van when we were at B&Q :-)

The poppies in the garden are massive.

Back in the office for more stress.

Day 3451 (12/06/2019)

After really wintry wet weather it was a grey but dry morning went off to the World Cup Cricket for Australia v Pakistan.

 

 

 
It was a really good day out and an exciting match, which Australia won but the Pakistani fan made it loud & fun.

Then home for fish & chips as the electricity had been off and had only just come back on at home.

Day 3450 (11/06/2019)

Another busy day in the office not doing everything I wanted.

More good news with Thomas getting another 'Distinction', so we celebrated with a 2 for Tuesday :-)

Day 3449 (10/06/2019)

Busy but not getting anywhere, really looking forward to be on holiday next week but have so much to do first.

Day 3447 & 3448 (08 & 09/06/2019)

It was another early (ish) start as I was doing somethings with the Devon & Cornwall Police Cadets at the HQ with my new business.

It went OK and gives us something to build on for the future.

In the evening I did a nice Moussaka, hassleback potatoes & Greek salad.

On Sunday I tided the garden.

Then made a very nice roast beef dinner.
