Day 3334 (15/02/2019)

A busy day in the office.

Day 3333 (14/02/2019)

There was quite a bust day in the office but it was Valentines Day, so I made a nice meal in the evening. We had a caprese salad (tomato & mozzarella with basil) with garlic dough balls and arancini (risotto balls) for starters.

Then I made a sea food (prawn & mussels) gnocchi in a tomato and basil sauce for mains.

Day 3332 (13/02/2019)

A busy day but I went to get a nice sushi for lunch & some flowers for my wife for valentines day as I had to go to Dublin first thing on Thursday to give evidence at court.

 

Then as soon as we had finished lunch the lawyers called to say that the case had been withdrawn, so I was no longer required to go to Dublin but it was too late to book anywhere to take my wife out on Thursday. 

Also as I was going to be away my wife had bought a valentines meal deal for tonight, so we had a nice dinner, starting with mussels.

Then salmon en croute. 

With profiteroles for afters.

All very lovely.

Day 3331 (12/02/2019)

It was an early start and a nice breakfast before having a busy day in the office.

My wife's daffodils are coming out nicely.

Day 3330 (11/02/2019)

After feeling ill on Friday I just couldn't get out of bed this morning, so had a bit of a lazy morning but still loads of work to do.

Day 3328 & 3329 (09 & 10/02/2019)

We had a relaxing breakfast and nice breakfast.

Then after popping into Bridgwater I did a bit of an American diner dinner, with southern fried chicken, ribs, potato skins & corn on the cob :-)

It was a normal Sunday, with breakfast at my parents and them home, with fresh daffodils for my wife and a nice roast beef diner.

Day 3327 (08/02/2019)

A busy & wet day. I picked up my new car in the morning.

Wasn't feeling well in the afternoon so went for a snooze & a lay down :-(

Day 3326 (07/02/2019)

Just another busy day in the office, with a meeting in the afternoon  with an old colleague.

Day 3325 (06/02/2019)

It was a busty & wet day.

The pavement was finally done and looks good.

In the afternoon & evening I went to a pensioners meeting, which was worth going to and had some pizza, which was lovely. 

Day 3324 (05/02/2019)

I was up early to take my wife's car to the garage for a service & MOT and whilst I was there i spoke to someone about changing my car, as it is nearly time for it to go back.

I went for something a bit bigger, as I had bought the car just for me but it quite often has more of us in it and it is a bit too small.

Then back home for breakfast and then work.

As it was the Chinese New Year we had a Chinese to celebrate :-)

Day 3323 (04/02/2019)

I started the day with another healthy smoothie, which was actually more of a porridge.

Then back to work.

Day 3321 & 3322 (02 & 03/02/2019)

There was no more snow overnight so getting round is a bit easier. In the evening my parents popped round for dinner, for my Mum's Birthday. We started with a nice prawn cocktail.

Then we had spaghetti bolognese.

 

On Sunday Lee & Me went to my parents for breakfast then I did a nice roast chicken dinner for them, before they had to leave to go back home.

 

It was great to see Lee, the visit was far too quick but they are looking really well and really happy. We are looking forward to catching up with them in March when we are visiting them.

Day 3320 (01/02/2019)

It's February, so Kylie time.

It was quite snowy and I drove my wife to work and popped into to see my parents on the way back, to drop off some milk & a newspaper but got stuck and had to have my dad and a neighbour dig my car out :-)

 

I made a nice cauliflower & broccoli cheese in the evening. 

 

Then Lee came home :-)

Day 3319 (31/01/2019)

An icy cold start to the day.

With a very spinach laden smoothie due to a lack of fruit :-(

They were bust doing the pavement.

And I had a much needed haircut.

In the evening I wanted to take my wife out for dinner, to try to make the day a bit special and less stressful as it would have been her mum's birthday. I did give her the choice of where to go but we ended up at The Worlds End. 

 Had a lovely goats cheese starter.

I had a pie for mains, with my wife going for the trio of game sausages. 

 

Then I had a nice apple & sultana crumble, with my wife having a mini pud. 

 
We had a nice time but it was snowing quite heavy.
