Day 3515 (14/08/2019)
Another smoothie in the morning and a busy ish day in the office.

Day 3514 (13/08/2019)
The day started with a nice breakfast.
Then it went a bit funny with work, Again. Oh to be making money and move on.
I ordered some diet menus in the evening after someone had recommend a high fat low carb menu, so lets give that a go. It does involve quite a bit of cooking and I will start it in a few weeks, when I am home for longer.
Fingers crossed this works as I really do need to lose some weight :-(

Back on the smoothies.
It tasted quite nice and kept me going thru the whole day.

Day 3511 & 3512 (10 & 11/08/2019)
Its the weekend with lots of work to do if I can be bothered.
My wife still has a nasty cough and the weather is still wet & windy at times.
My wife made a nice brunch, with one of her specials on mashed avocado with yogurt & chilli on toast.
We hadn't had a Chinese for a while, so we had a nice take-away in the evening.
The sunflowers just about made it thru the stormy weather intact, just one got blown over & smashed the pot, so I ended up putting that in a bucket.
Did a nice roast pork in the evening.
Very tasty and very nice after a few weeks without a Sunday roast.

Day 3504 & 3505 (03 & 04/08/2019)
Another busy weekend on the cards with lots to do but with my wife going down with a bad throat & cold, so we were unable to go to the Flower Show.
I cut the grass and tidied the garden before it got too hot.
The sunflower is looking very impressive.
In the evening we went out for dinner with my Dad's family who were down for the flower show.
It was a nice evening but the service was a bit crap.
I bought my wife some fresh flowers.
Inspired by the starters we had at Marco Pierre Whites last week I made my version of the Beetroot, walnut & goats cheese starter, which was quite nice.
Then I made a beetroot tagliatelle, which I had seen on the telly.
It looked like the one on the telly but was awful.
So we had pancakes & fruit for afters which was much better.

Back in the office with lots to do.
Have selected my team for this years Family Fantasy Football League.
I picked good Goalies & Attackers but everyone else was picked because they were cheap, so I have no idea who most of them are.
The sunflower is looking very good.
It's hard to believe that it was a little seedling just 2 months ago, normally we kill plants & flowers, so are not use to results like this and many of the others sunflowers are not far behind this one.
Home cooked fish & chips tonight :-)
