Day 5629 & 5630 (31/05 & 01/06/2025)

We were up a bit earlier than normal for a Saturday, as we were going out later.  So we had a nice brunch, then I cut the grass before we started getting ready to go to see my wife's family in Bristol. 

The weather was lovely in Bristol, as was the food. As I'm still being good, I didn't have much and shared the cakes with my wife.   

I made a single Pimms last all afternoon as I was driving. 

On the way home we stopped off for a walk along the seafront at Burnham-On-Sea, which was nice but a bit chilly.

As it was chilly I offered my wife my hoodie, which could have gone round her several times.

Sunday was the start of June, so a new picture of Kylie, who we are seeing this week. 

Saw my parents for breakfast, then home to do a few bits of bods. Thought I would treat us to a nice dinner when my wife finished work, so we had some (Tesco's) Caviar for starters.

Then I made Pescado A La Veracruzana, but with added Orzo pasta / rice, inspired by an Angela Hartnett meal. 

It was very tasty.
