After nice lazy morning at the hotel, we drove off to Southampton, to catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight, where we had a coffee and a breakfast roll while waiting to embark.
Then we had a little drive thru the island, before stopping at Sandown, where we had a walk along the beach and the pier, and had an ice-cream in the sunshine.
And had a profitable but wet time at the amusements.
After a nice relaxing time, we went off to the hotel, which was quite nice, then went off to Shanklin for dinner on the sea front.

After a nice laze morning, we went off to Ventnor, which was lovely, and so hot. We had a lovely brunch, then a walk along the sea-front.
Then we went for a tour of the island, and visited a few Nation Trust places.
Then off to the Needles, where we nearly got a medal for taking part in a charity walk :-)
Then we went off to Yarmouth, where we had a few tasty nibbles.
And then watched a lovely sunset.
