A busy day in the office.

In the afternoon I tidied the garden and a bit more of the shed.

A busy day in the office. 

Thomas had gone to visit some friends at a Centre Parcs for the day, so had my car, so no gym today.

A busy day in the office and off to the gym.

We had hoped to go out for dinner to a restaurant which is closing down but it was fully booked, so we ordered a Chinese take away instead.

Back to work and back to the gym.

Pie & mash in the evening. 

Day 5013 & 5014 (23 & 24/09/2023)

 It's the weekend and its dry for a change but still quite cold, so we gave up and put the heating on. We had a nice vegi breakfast.

In the afternoon I tidied the garden, as there were leaves everywhere, and tidied a bit more of the shed.

Then in the evening I did a nice dinner, with king prawn & scallop in a Prosecco sauce for starters.

And then pan fried lamb chops in mint sauce, with spring onions, carrots, potato croquettes & cauliflower cheese and a very tasty pink rhubarb gin.

Very tasty :-)

Sunday I saw my parents for breakfast, then home to do some work, before making a nice Sunday roast, with a Turkey & Gammon joint.

Day 5012 (22/09/2023)

Busy at work but most of the day was spent on food :-)

I made a tasty prawn cocktail salad for lunch.

Then in the evening I smoked salmon pasta in a cream sauce, with shallots, capers, tomato’s and a bit of lemon, which was lovely but I had a disaster, when I had an accident straining the tagliatelle and it all ended up in the sink, so I had to quickly cook some spaghetti :-(

Back at work and at t he gym.

Had some refreshing low fat Greek yoghurt & fruit when I got home.

Nice vegi burger & fries in the evening.

Back to work and back to the gym.

Nice cheesy toped pasta in the evening.

Day 5009 (19/09/2023)

The day started with a nice breakfast.

Then busy all day as it was a Locate day & evening, with pizza ordered for a late dinner.

Day 5008 (18/09/2023)

Back to work but doing so much less and feeling better for it. 

Awful wet & windy weather still. 

We had chicken & chips in the evening as Thomas was away for an interview.

Day 5006 & 5007 (16 & 17/09/2023)

It was a relaxing start to the day, with a nice breakfast.

Hard to imagine how hot it has been lately as it is really wet today.

In the late afternoon we went off to Exeter for a nice meal.

Then off to the theatre to see Richard Herring at RHLSTP (RHLSTP).  

A very nice day, apart from the weather.

On Sunday I went to see my parents for breakfast, then in the afternoon made a roast chicken dinner.

With vegi pigs in blankets for Thomas.
