Day 1588 & 1589 (03 & 04/05/2014)

Being a white middle-aged, middle class man I obviously spent sometime this bank holiday weekend doing the garden and eventually got around to planting the flowers and putting the grass seed on the lawn.

I also put out the other solar lights that we had.

Gnomes & Multi-Coloured Solar Lights, my parents will hate it.

Then off to see Frank Skinner in Bristol, with my wife & Sam.

The show started with a 20+minute support act which was quite funny, then an interval then Frank Skinner was on for just over 2hrs of very funny material. It was a great show but my bum was numb come the end, it really could have done with a break.

Thomas was at the football and managed to get a photo on-line & in the papers,

whilst he appeared on the telly and on Twitter.

Sunday and time for dinner at the Worlds End, which was as lovely as ever but rather disappointingly they had taken my new favourite afters off of the menu.

Then off to see Suggs in Yeovil.

It was a great show, with Suggs talking about his life, with a few songs.

It was rather touching that the chair that he sat on for part of it was the exact same chair that Kim had bought and we kept from her house. Kim loved Madness and she would have loved the fact that Suggs & her had used the same chair.

Still miss her loads.
