A busy day with people coming in to fix my office telephone line and broadband. The phone is now nice and quiet without interference which had stopped me using it for the last few months. Plus my up-load speed on the interenet is back to normal, so I don't have to wait 5 minutes when uploading a photo to the blog or sending a report to a client.
My new business cards arrived.
They were ordered by the office, so I didn't give myself the fancy title but it does sound very important.
Loads of reports to do, so new rest this weekend :-(

Day 2383 (07/07/2016)
Day 2 of the conference went well, with some nice food, including a chocolate cake :-)
In the afternoon we had a meeting about the organisation. I would have run it but I know that it is better if I don't as the police wont be involved if they see my name at the top.
Then an hours wait at Paddington, with still no Yo-Sushi or Mexican, so I had to make do with a Starbucks.

Day 2382 (06/07/2016)
In London for a 2 day conference, with some people I get on with and ones from the police.
I was torn between being very professional and going for the sales or just ripping into the people I hate.
You can guess what I did but it went down well, with nearly everyone.
The food was very nice.
After the conference there were a few beers, then I went for a subway meal and back to my hotel room to watch Wales get knocked out of the Euros.

Day 2381 (05/07/2016)
Another day when I had planned to do so much but I hardly got any of the planned work done. I did do loads of other stuff.
Nice Tuesday breakfast together, missed these.
No bread or toast as my wife is seeing if I'm wheat intolerant or just generally intolerant.
Off to London in the evening for a conference but no first class travel :-(

Day 2380 (04/07/2016)
I had planned to do so much work today but got hardly any of that done.
On the plus side I did about two weeks worth of re-cycling done.
Also got my car washed :-)

Day 2378 & 2379 (02 & 03/07/2016)
A busy Saturday as we had to get ready sand drive to the Donkey Sanctuary for Oscar & Kellie's wedding.
It was a lovely service.
It was lovely food.
A very nice day and we wish them all the best in their new life together in America.
Sunday I had work to do but didn't do much but did make a nice dinner and watch the football.

Day 2377 (01/07/2016)
The first of July already; the months and years go-bye quicker and quicker but thankfully there is always Kylie to look forward to.
I still have loads of work to catch up on, with reports in Romania to check and send to clients. Then a busy couple of weeks with presentations in London before going back to Romania. What a busy month, I will need another holiday soon at this rate.
Thanks to Lee / Kelly I now have a new lego figure, a bloody gnome.
Burrito's in the evening and Wales winning in the football.

Day 2376 (30/06/2016)
Another 6 presentations, which although isn't physically demanding is very mentally tiring, especially as we were doing it a two different venues.
Then a rush to the airport and a journey home.

Day 2375 (29/06/2016)
A full day of 6 short presentations, which got a bit confusing towards the end as I couldn't remember which bit I had already covered. I was glad to finish and get back to the hotel.
I had a very disappointing burger.
Then stubbed my toe and broke it :-(

Day 2374 (28/06/2016)
The course continued and went well.
In the evening I went out with the guys who run the company I was representing, for a curry, which was very nice as I haven't had one for ages.

Day 2373 (27/06/2016)
First day of this weeks 2 day training course and it was very nice to have someone whose job it was to help with all the running around and setting up.
The lunch was quite nice.
There was lots of fruit, most of which didn't get eaten, so I packed some up to take back to my hotel to have in the evening.
An OK meal at the hotel, followed by a crap performance by England at the football.

Day 2371 & 2372 (25 & 26/06/2016)
I busy weekend as I'm flying to the Isle of Man on Sunday to run some training courses there next week.
I took some time out to tidy the drive and hedge, with my once a year de-weed.
Sunday was busy but I managed to make a nice diner for me and my wife before leaving for the Isle of Man.
I was flying from Gloucester Airport (no honestly they do have an airport, just not a very big one). The journey should have taken 90minutes but when I put my sat-nav on it was saying it would take me about 2hrs 30minutes, meaning I wasn't going to arrive until after my plane had left.
There wasn't n accident or road works, just a lots of traffic, which had mostly cleared by Bristol, meaning I was going to be cutting it fine for the flight. Then my sat-nav froze and I had to phone home for directions.
I got to the airport 20minutes before the flight but they let me check-in.
The plane is fairly small and it was a bit of a windy journey all in cloud cover, so was a bit like being on a roller coaster whilst wearing a blindfold.
I was glad to arrive, even if it was raining lots on the Island.
Then a quick journey to my hotel, which is strangely the same one I stayed in about 4 years ago.

Day 2370 (24/06/2016)
Well the public have spoken but I unlike many think there are a number of reasons why people voted out, it wasn't all about immigration or a liking for Boris Johnson and Farage.
It was not very reassuring to see this when I logged on to my bank.
I am sure things will steady down and that we won't leave the EU (well I'm hoping anyway).
In the evening me and the Mrs went to see Mark Watson at the Brewhouse and he was really funny.

Day 2369 (23/06/2016)
The day was memorable for two things.
It's 32 years to day that I met this lovely lady.
I wonder what happened to her.
The second things was the referendum on In or Out of Europe. I am very much a European but think the EU Parliament and structures need puling into line.
It really is too close to call.

Day 2368 (22/06/2016)
We didn't get back in until 1am, so it was a fairly relaxed day but did involve me getting back to work.
In the evening we had a chinese, to save cooking.

Day 2367 (21/06/2016)
And then our holiday was over :-(
Well it was the last day and although we had to checkout of our room by midday our flight was not until the evening, so we stayed sunning ourselves on the roof terrace and y the pool for a few hours and then wandered into town for something to eat. This was actually a difficult task, as everywhere seemed to open between 12 and 3 but then didn't open again until after 7pm; however our taxi was booked for 7:30pm, so we needed dinner at about 5:30pm.
Eventually we found somewhere willing to make us dinner early.
Then to the airport and our flight home.

Day 2366 (20/06/2016)
Again the weather forecast was for heavy rain but it stayed nice so after a view to the roof terrace we stayed by the pool.
By the evening it was baking hot.
We walked into town to the posh looking place we had seen in the first night but they didn't do food until 8pm, so we had a drink there and went elsewhere, as we had to get back for the football.
