Day 1573 (18/04/2014)

Started the day with some lovely poached eggs on muffins.

Yum Yum.

Then we went out to buy some plants for the garden but got slightly distracted by the gnomes.

 A quick cake,

and then spent some time tidying the garden and plant a few things.

Day 1572 (17/04/2014)

Busy day with a trip into town to pick up stuff and then go to the gym.

Apparently Asda staff have been wearing bunny ears at work.

My wife looked better in them than I do.

Looking forward to a nice long weekend, making the garden look nice and seeing Kelly.

Day 1571 (16/04/2014)

After quite a few years of doing both the training and the research work, I was as a result having to work at least 10hrs - 16hrs  a day every day. At the start of the year I gave up most of the research (& investigations) work and have had a much more relaxed life since, although there are still the occasional busy periods but nowhere near as much as before.

Obviously it also mean that I have given up half of my income which is why I must pursue more train opportunities now as the training has the potential to earn more in a shorter period of time. But it is a double edged sword as a hat being away from home but must go away to earn money.

Anyway I have coasted for the last few months enjoying my new easier life style but yesterday I actually got some enthusiasm to push forward with the training and a new venture.

Hopefully this will also carry on to getting the house tidy and me getting fit.

Day 1570 (15/04/2014)

Started tidying the house by putting a few things in the bin and moving stuff for the car and few tools from the house to the shed, where they belong. A small start but it is a start.

I will get the handyman around to hang up the Aztec Sun & Moon thing that we bought in a National Trust building the other month.

The moss is starting to die off in the garden, so hopefully we can get the grass growing back soon, so we can make the most of the garden this summer.

Also I have now booked the new storage unit, so my office will be a bit  more comfortable next week.

Day 1569 (14/04/2014)

Yesterday at the gym, during a moment of clarity during an exhausting session I decided to cancel quite a few things I don't really use any more, mostly to do with work, and to start clearing the house.

I know I've said it before but I mean it this time.

I'm even going to change the storage site, so I can store more work stuff in the dry, as my office is getting so full I can hardly move in here now.

Day 1567 & 1568 (12 & 13/04/2014)

Managed to spend Saturday tidying the garden after the winter. It was really untidy.

I could do an advert for a jet wash after cleaning the table on the patio.

It came up a treat.

And the rest of the garden is looking much better now.

But it's not finished yet and I think the grass will take a few weeks to recover as although it looks green, most of that is moss.

Had a nice Chinese Saturday night, as a boys treat.

And a nice bit of anti-pasta as a starter on Sunday.

Followed by just a small Sunday roast.

Day 1566 (11/04/2014)

It seems like Gary & Elaine had a good time visiting Kelly.

Two peas in a pod and their carer.

I had a meeting at lunchtime which was good but always strange when people meet me with what I assume is a Masonic handshake, as I'm not a Mason and not really interested in joining either. Plus anyone who knows can seriously not consider that I'm the sort of person that they would want in their little club.

After the meeting I went to the gym, so that was everyday during the week and I'm feeling better but no smaller, yet.

Day 1565 (10/04/2014)

This week is going really quickly, it's Thursday night already.

I went to the gym again but didn't haver much energy so only managed about 75% of what I had been doing and when I got home I finished off some chilli from the other night, in a sandwich. I was hungry, so I needed it.

Aiming to spend the weekend tidying up the garden, so will post a few photos soon.

Day 1564 (09/04/2014)

I had to supply a passport type photo to a University I'm hopefully going to be doing lots of work with b ut having realised that the most recent one on my computer was about 4 years old I had to pop out and get some new ones.

But why do they make me look like a fat middle-aged thug.

At the gym again but its not helped with the large collection of easter eggs they have collected for a children charity.

They should hand them out to fat people after a work out as a reward.

Day 1564 (08/04/2014)

Sad news last night about a young mother with a sad past.

I can't say I would have recognised Peaches Geldof in a line-up or could even tell you what she did but she was too young to die and had two young children who would probably have preferred her to still be around. A story not exclusive to celebrities and sadly repaeted all too often.

Also very very sad for her father Bod Geldof, whose music I really like and who seems to have had a positive effect on the world but with all of the success he has had, he has had to deal with two deaths of people in his life that were far too young to die and that just doesn't seem right.

It does seem strange in modern society that now because of social media someone can die but appear so alive & current.

Peaches Geldof was very active on Twitter & Instagram, with both accounts still visible & now receiving messages of condolence from thousands of people around the world.

I don't know if it is better to have so many visual memories around or if it was better years ago, when a lone photograph was all most people had of a loved one.

I have fond memories of loved ones, do I need more, does it help, I just don't know. I think about people I miss on daily basis and possibly a social networking account with such personal messages, photo's & video's would be too much for me.

If my memory goes then I'm on my way out anyway and it wont matter.

Day 1563 (07/04/2014)

Slightly quite and sad at home as Kelly has gone back now but we will be going to see her next.

Doing a few things in the office and doing a new website for a new business venture that I started ages ago but never did anything with.

Went to the gym again today, I don't know if I'm feeling the benefit of it or just knackered because of it but I will keep at it.

Day 1561 & 1562 (05 & 06/04/2014)

Saturday was a relaxing day with Thomas off at the football and Kelly taking us to a donkey sanctuary.

Then home and my wife made a lovely curry.

On Sunday I bought some kippers for breakfast, they were lovely.

First world problems whilst shopping, trying to find the Pak Choi.

Then a lovely duck breast for dinner.

Plus a latte later, which I am a sudden fan of.

Day 1560 (04/04/2014)

Today was the funeral of our friends and my parents went to it.

I had things to do in the office, went to the gym and then had the evening out with my wife seeing Jason Manford in Yeovil.

He was very funny and it was a lovely evening with my wife.

Day 1559 (03/04/2014)

Doing work in the office and went to the gym.

Nice having Kelly home for a few days (again).

Wednesday, 2 April 2014

Day 1558 (02/04/2014)

Didn't manage to go to the gym today but I was still slightly stiff and knackered from last nights trip.

Doing some work and creating a new website to get my own back on the police for breaching my copyright.

The website has loads of visits from the police already and I expect it may provoke a reaction, good or bad, but to be honest I've had enough and to take them to court I need to get everything in order, so if I'm doing that I might as well publicise it as well.

Hey guess what, Kelly is back for a couple of days :-)

Day 1557 (01/04/2014)

April, April, April, already, how did that happen, where has the year gone, where has my life gone.

Look on the bright side a new month means a new picture of Kylie.

In the evening I went to the gym and while my wife was doing a pilates class I did 7minutes on each of the machines and then a few weights but the pool was busy.

When I got home I gave in and managed to get the music off of my old hard drive by connecting up to the computer, so now I can listen to the 1000's of tracks I've collected over the last 10yrs.

Day 1556 (31/03/2014)

Monday was back to work but also saying goodbye to Kelly after her short stay.

It was great to see her, oh when will we see her again.

Saturday, 29 March 2014

Day 1554 & 1555 (29 & 30/03/2014)

The weekend is here and I am really looking forward to all being together tonight as Kelly is coming back for Mothers Day.

Saying that my wife is out at her Mum's today and Thomas is at Swindon covering the football, whilst I'm doing some work.

Having Mum & Dad round for a nice Sunday Roast tomorrow.

Friday, 28 March 2014

Day 1553 (28/03/2014)

A busy day catching up with stuff in the office not helped when I realised that my invoices from our training in January & February for the Home Office wasn't paid.

My business accounts are empty as an empty thing from empty town and I have bills to pay, like Thomas's camera insurance which has now doubled thanks to the soaking he got from Yeovil Town, the inconsiderate wankers.

Looking forward to Kelly being home tomorrow night, for Mothers Day.

Day 1552 (27/03/2014)

The last day of the course then a very very long drive home as the M6 was still closed following an accident in the morning.

I was advised to take a different route, along the M1, which added about another 100 miles to the already journey.

Exhausted by the the time I got home.
