It is my Dad's Birthday.
During the day I finished some work in the office, then we went out for dinner in the evening.
My diary of changing things in my life, my size, fitness, the state of my house and life. Not a big task then.
It is my Dad's Birthday.
During the day I finished some work in the office, then we went out for dinner in the evening.
It was an early start, as someone was coming round to quote on tidying up the hedge at the front. Their quote was a lot more than I expected but they were able to do it there & then, so it was a bit of a noisy morning.
Thankfully it didn't take them long and is now looking a load better (I know the hedge is in parts quite dead but it will do for now).
It was a Bank Holiday but my wife had to work, so I did some gardening and some work in the office.
We finished off the salad for diner and had a relaxing evening.
The weekend, with Lee moving and Thomas having his last day at Sainsbury's. We had a nice brunch, with scrambled eggs, mushroom & tomato on toasted muffins.
It's May already and the weather has been lovely.
In the evening I made a tasty prawn risotto.
Another lovely sunny day. Thomas needed to go to Bristol to arrange a different soon for a weeding, so I drove, and we agreed on a very smart outfit.
It was at a proper tailors, and they had an interesting display. I never knew that there were so many different types & collars & cuffs.
Then home and a bit of work.
An early start taking my Dad to the eye hospital, then back for brunch.
When it started to get dark, the cheap tacky solar toadstool started to light up and if it is possibly became even cheaper and tackier, and started to look like an illuminated phallic symbol when it was very dark outside.
In comparison, the new solar flame torches made the plants at the front look like some had set light to them, with their flickering flame affect.
A busy day in the office.
We finished the chicken wraps for a late lunch, so didn't have dinner.
