Day 5405 & 5406 (19 & 20/10/2024)

We woke up to a nice bright morning and after getting ready, we went for a nice brunch.

Then after a bit of a relax, we headed for the hot tub, which was quite relaxing. 

Then time for a few drinks & nibbles and a game of scrabble.

Then out for dinner, with some tasty starters.  

And tasty mains. 

Then back to relax in the lodge. 

The weather turned overnight, so there was lots of rain and it was blowing a gale. So avoiding the rain we went for brunch. 

Then we had a bit of a walk and back to the lodge, before heading back for Sunday Dinner.    

On the way out we had some nice ice-creams.

Then back to the lodge and as the sun was out we went for a walk around the lakes. 

Then back to the lodge and back in the hot tub.

Then in the evening we relaxed with some pampering things, a bottle of fizz and something on the telly. 

Day 5404 (18/10/2024)

We had a fairly relaxed start to the day, then getting ready to go down towards Weymouth for a few family days, stopping for a costa on the way. 

We had booked a nice lodge with a hot tub. 

We were joined by Lee and had a nice meal at the restaurant. 

Then a quick look at the entertainment before going back to the lodge and relaxing for the night. 

Day 5403 (17/10/2024)

A rare bright & dry day in Taunton.  Thomas was out in my car all day, so no gym again, so I busied myself in the office.

We had left overs in the evening, as we are off  out for a few days.

Day 5402 (16/10/2024)

Another dark & wet morning in Taunton.  I spoke to my Mum who told me my Dad has Covid, which is a bit annoying. 

I was busy online during the day, so no gym again today. And I made a curry in the evening, with a vegi tikka masala and a spinach paneer, all very tasty, with a nice salad, naan’s and poppadoms.

Quite tasty :-)

Day 5401 (15/10/2024)

A relaxing morning, with a nice brunch. 

Spoke to Thomas who had his first shift at work this morning, which seemed to go OK. 

We dropped flowers off to my Mum & Dad but didn't go in as my Dad has a nasty cough. We then went for a Costa, then home to do some work.  We had some left over stew (I like parmesan with my stew) before my last Tuesday session for Locate.

Day 5400 (14/10/2024)

A cold, damp and dark start to the day in Taunton. I was busy online and Thomas was out in my car, so no gym today. 

We had a nice stew in the evening.
