Day 5106 (25/12/2023)

It's Christmas, with lots of nice presents, including a new Kylie calendar :-)

Then I cooked the Christmas dinner.

The dinner & company was lovely.

With some tasty afters.

Then collapsing in-front of the telly.

Day 5104 & 5105 (23 & 24/12/2023)

We had a nice lie-in and breakfast at the hotel before having a relaxing drive back, stopping at Salisbury to refuel.

Then at home I made a quick cheesy tuna pasta.

Sunday morning I saw my parents for breakfast then home to do a few odds & sods. When my wife came home, we visited Bridgwater and Bristol, laying flowers and dropping off a few presents, in quite awful weather. When we got home I warmed up some nice soup I had bought for dinner.

Day 5103 (22/12/2023)

A morning of getting everything finished for Christmas and then packing, to take Lee back to Worthing.  Thankfully the traffic was quite light.

We had a nice Chinese with Lee & Tim in the evening before collapsing back in the Travelodge.

Another busy day finishing up my work.

In the evening I made a quick but very tasty pea risotto.

Doing some stuff in the office and getting ready for Christmas.

I made a nice carbonara in the evening.

A busy day in the office but with an evening off and Thomas made a tasty dinner.

Day 5099 (18/12/2023)

Back to work in the office with a near non-stop delivery of Amazon deliveries.

We had cheese & biscuits in the evening.

Day 5097 & 5098 (16 & 17/12/2023)

A busy day, with my wife putting out some decoration before going out on her Christmas Do at Oake Manor Golf Club. 

I was at home with the kids and did meat balls for dinner.

With pork sausage meatballs for me :-)

When I picked my wife up after her do, she was actually complaining about being too warm. Normally when I pick her up from her Christmas Do it is freezing but tonight it was actually +10 degree at nearly midnight, which is crazy.

On Sunday me & Lee went to see my parents for breakfast then went home to get ready for Gary & Elaine coming over for an early Christmas dinner. 

A lovely 3 bird roast, gammon joint an pigs in blankets, plus all the usual vegetables and a great and long over-due get together.

Another busy day, with fish & chips in the evening :-)

Busy online and with family stuff, so we are totally unprepared for Christmas :-(
