Day 4014 & 4015 (26 & 27/12/2020)

 A weird weekend as it was Boxing Day on Saturday, which was basically a lazy day, with too much food & drink (as if that's possible). At lunchtime I cooked a full bifta vegi breakfast, with black pudding (which wasn't vegi but was lovely).

Then in the evening we had the buffet we didn't have on Christmas day. 

On Sunday we had a nice healthy breakfast.

Then we went for a walk along the coast in Minehead, then had a little picnic in the car watching the sea.

And then a walk along Blue Anchor, it was even colder.

Then home for a festive ham, egg and chips :-)

Day 4013 (25/12/2020)

It's Christmas Day :-)

We had some reindeer crumpets from breakfast.

Then a nice relaxing day, whilst I was making dinner for the three of us. 

Vegi Christmas dinner for Thomas.

And a Turkey & Gammon Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for me and my wife, 

Then we had some Christmas pudding and were stuffed and retired to watch the telly for the evening :-) 

Day 4012 (24/12/2020)

It's Christmas Eve and I had things to do in the office but managed to get all of the Christmas things done fairly early. 

Had some nice vegi sushi in the evening.

Day 4011 (23/12/2020)

Another day in the office looking forward to Christmas. 

My wife was in work at 6am, so I made her sardines on toast & a cup of tea when she came home.

Then in the evening we had a nice spaghetti bolognese, so I opened a bottle of wine :-)

It must be officially Christmas time as not only have we finally got a few decorations up but my wife got the first of the Christmas cakes & biscuits out for our afternoon cuppa.

Back to work but winding down as the pandemic news gets worse and worse :-(

In the afternoon, after my wife returned from work, we went to Bridgwater to lay some flowers on the grave, which as always gave us time to reflect on so many things.

Luckily we avoided the worse of the rain as it was awful today. 

Day 4007 & 4008 (19 & 20/12/2020)

It's the weekend, I have loads to do but it will be nice to relax a bit if I can. In the morning we went out to post the Christmas cards and then had breakfast at Costa. Then in the afternoon we drove to Bristol to lay some flowers on a grave.

Then in the evening I had my works Christmas do, a very tasty Indian take away :-)  

Sunday I saw my parents and then in the evening we finished off the curry.

A busy day in the office, how can next Friday be Christmas Day, we haven't got any decorations up yet and are so unprepared (as always).

Next year will be different (I know I say that every year).

The days are very samey but my hair was feeling a bit long so I had a trim around the ears.

Day 4000 & 4001 (12 & 13/12/2020)

It's the weekend, I have a few bits to do in the office but time to relax and plan a few meals. In the evening we went Mediterranean with paella, tortilla and a nice Greek salad, with some sangria.

Very tasty but not quite the same as nice week on holiday over there.

On Sunday I saw my parents then in the afternoon made pan cooked lamb steaks for us and vegi toad in the hole for Thomas, all very tasty.

Very tasty, with some nice wine.

These days are all very similar, role on the vaccination and a return to a normality.

I went for the vegi American diner look tonight for dinner, very tasty.

On Sunday I visited my parents in the morning, then in the afternoon tried a vegi Sunday roast, which was OK but not great.
