Day 3811 & 3812 (06 & 07/06/2020)

The weekend is here but its cold & wet and the infection rate is going up in the South West and things are looking grim for this country at the moment.

In the afternoon I went to Tesco's for more supplies.

Then in the evening I made a vegi tikka masala and a vegetable korma with a few other curry bits. 

 

Very tasty.

 

On Sunday I made a very nice duck breast dinner, it was very tasty but I forgot to take any photos of it.

Quite surprising scenes in Bristol in the afternoon, with the pulling down of the statue of Colston in Bristol during the Black Lives Matter protest. Is it even possible that for once things will improve in this country, I doubt it but it would be nice as it's long overdue.

Day 3810 (05/06/2020)

Another cold wet day but the hedge was finished and i gave the hedgman a few other jobs that he could do to make the garden look a bit better.

Day 3809 (04/06/2020)

The weather brightened up again, which was handy as the hedgeman cam round to start trim the hedge.

In the evening it was time for another meal from Little Italy, which was nice.

I went for the meat balls with penne :-)

Day 3808 (03/06/2020)

A cool and wet day, which makes a pleasant change but I hope it is sunny again soon as I was getting used to that.

Had another zoom quiz night in the evening with the boys from the van and I wasn't last for a change.

Another hot day.

Made a nice pizza in the evening.

Golly it's June already, on the plus side it was time for a new picture of Kylie :-)

Finished off the Chinese and the roast pork in the evening, very tasty. 

Day 3804 & 3805 (30 & 31/05/2020)

It's the weekend, still with lots to do but I'm aiming to relax a bit.

Went to Tesco's on Saturday to buy supplies.

Then made a very nice vegi Chinese.

 

 

Very tasty.

Had some cream & fruit for afters.

Sunday I finished off a few bagels  for breakfast.

And did a roast pork for dinner. 

 

 

Very tasty.

Another day in lockdown and in the office but went out in the evening to pick up fish & chips for us and my mum & dad.

They were very nice.

Another lockdown day but finished off the salmon & bagels for breakfast :-)

 
The poppy in the garden has flowered already.

Given the circumstances and that it is still May it has been a nice summer so far.

Day 3799 (25/05/2020)

A sunny Bank Holiday, when I had a bit of work to do but we had a nice breakfast.

Then tidied the garden and then had another lockdown haircut.

 

 

 

 

Then finished off the salad.

Weekend, a very windy weekend with the occasional shower.

In the afternoon I went of to Tesco's to buy some supplies.

Then we had a some very nice vegi hot dogs and salad.

I also got my wife some fresh flowees. 

And did a lovely roast chicken dinner on Sunday.
