Day 3790 & 3791 (16 & 17/05/2020)

It's the weekend, with still lots to do in the office.

In the afternoon I tidied the garden.

Then off to Tesco's in one of our new masks.

Made a nice Mexican in the evening.

 

 

On Sunday did a very nice roast beef, with a vegi option for Thomas.

 

 

 

Day 3789 (15/05/2020)

Another day in lockdown spent mostly in the office but we had a nice lunch.

Then I wanted a haircut but my wife suggested only a trim.

Then off for fish and chips, where I mistakenly ordered a large fish and too many chips but it was lovely.

Another day in lockdown and in the office.

Day 3787 (13/05/2020)

It is my wife's Birthday, so I'm the younger man for the next few months.

We had a nice breakfast.

Then we had tea & a birthday cake.

Then in the evening we had a lovely meal from Little Italy.

 

   

 

Day 3786 (12/05/2020)

Another similar day to yesterday in these crazy lockdown days, with me at work and my wife off for the week, making a nice breakfast.

In the evening we had a two for Tuesday.

Day 3785 (11/05/2020)

Back to work for me but my wife is off for a few days so we had a nice breakfast.

Still got loads to do in the office.

Day 3783 & 3784 (09 & 10/05/2020)

It is our 33rd Wedding Anniversary.

Luckily for me my wife has hardly changed :-)

We had a nice breakfast, with a bottle of bucks fizz :-)

Then I went shopping got my wife some flowers.

I also bought some herbs to plant and keep in the kitchen.

In the evening we had a nice take away curry with a few beers.

Then on Sunday we had a relaxing day with a very nice duck breast in plum & hoisin sauce with new potatoes and veg for dinner, with a vegi option for Thomas.
   

 

 

It was really tasty, as was the wine :-)

Day 3782 (08/05/2020)

It Bank Holiday for VE Day and quite sunny, so after a nice breakfast I went and tidied the garden.

Then went and cut the grass and planted some plants which I bought in Tesco’s yesterday.

I also found some really old seeds in the shed, so mixed them all together with some feed & planted them, be nice if some of them flower.

     

Then we had some french stick and cheese for lunch :-)

 

Day 3781 (07/05/2020)

It's my Dad's birthday today.

The photo is from last year at the Cricket World Cup, which was a good day.

Normally we would be going out for a meal to celebrate but today we just went round in the afternoon with a banner and sang Happy Birthday to him from a safe distance when we dropped some shopping forthem.

A busy day with two zoom meetings before lunchtime and an evening zoom quiz with the boys from the van in the evening.

Then had a very nice risotto for dinner, made my my wife, the clever person that she is.

Just another day in lockdown, still doing lots of work.

Another normal day in lockdown, just feeling a bit tired, might be doing to much and need to take some days off.

Day 3776 & 3777 (02 & 03/05/2020)

It's the weekend at the sun was out after last nights downpour. It is slightly annoying that the ground was wet as I was going to cut hr grass, so I just tidied the garden a bit instead and then had another lockdown hair cut which I liked but my wife wasn't too keen on.

In  the evening I did a nice veggie kebab / Greek dinner.

Then we had an Eton Mess for afters.

Sunday I did a roast lamb dinner and finished off the Eton Mess, with a Butterscotch Angel Delight :-) 

 

 

Day 3775 (01/05/2020)

It's the 1st of May already.

April was a really funny month, short / long who knows, the days just mould into one, if it wasn't for this blog and the 1st being Kylie day I wouldn't have a clue what the day is.
