Day 3092 (18/06/2018)

We had a bit of a relaxing morning and grabbed a quick drink and a danish at the next door coffee shop.

Then we were meeting at Carragher's Bar to watch the England game, which was fun & lively.

Then in the evening we went to an Italian for diner.

Day 3091 (17/06/2018)

Our room, on the 20th floor, has a very classic New York view with skyscrapers and rooftop water tanks / towers.

We had a diner brunch, why was very nice.

Had a great Fathers Day card from the kids.

And then we went for a wander around Times Square, in the heat, ending up the Hard Rock Cafe for a cooling drink.

We went back to the hotel, where they had a rooftop bar, giving a great view of the city.

Then we went to the hotel restaurant.

I had some nice shrimp & calamari.

Then a lobster mac’n cheese, very nice :-)

Then we went back to the rooftop bar to see the city at night, which was very nice.

Day 3090 (16/06/2018)

Despite saying we must be packed and ready the day before flying we woke up still needing to get ready but some how we managed to leave on time and get to the airport in time.

We stopped of at Gordon Ramsey's for a nice lunch but I was slightly disappointed that the nice toilets have now gone :-(

Then on to the flight, where we had managed to get a row of 4 seats together.

As we had upgraded a bit we had some nice fizz before we took off.

And a few more bottles of wine for the journey & dinner :-)

The flight was around 7hrs but didn't seem that long as there was a plenty of wine a good choice of films. Getting thru security took some time due to many staff being on but thankfully ended up being quite hassle free.

Then a drive to the hotel thru a very busy New York City & Times Square

Then to the hotel and to sleep in our room on the 20th floor, which was quite nice, not massive but it will be fine whilst we are here as we will be out all day.
