Day 5842 (31/12/2025)

It was a very icy start today, and I still had to de-ice my wife's car after 11am, when she was going to work.

Then I was in the office and had an interesting catch-up with Dave G.

We ordered a Chinese in the evening and then waited up for the New Year. 

Day 5841 (30/12/2025)

A fairly busy morning, getting ready, then dropping off some flowers and Bridgwater and Bristol South Crematorium. Then we went off to meet up with some of my wife's family,  which was nice and we had a nice little afternoon tea.

Day 5840 (29/12/2025)

Back into the office and back to the gym. 

When my wife came home we had a buffet, to try and finish off the stuff in the fridge. 

Day 5838 & 5839 (27 & 28/12/2025)

We had a nice breakfast.

Then we tidied up and opened a few presents, before Lee went back to Worthing. 

It was really good to all be together for a few days. 

We had a nice buffet dinner in the evening. 

On Sunday I saw my parents, then home to do a few things and make the Angela Hartnett, tuna steaks on a tomato, shallot and butter bean sauce, with added harissa and parsley, all very tasty but possibly slightly too much harissa. 

Very nice, especially after a bit too many buffets. 

Day 5837 (26/12/2025)

Boxing Day, and I woke fairly early after a good nights sleep and basically spent the day relaxing.

Day 5836 (25/12/2025)

Christmas Day, and we had a nice breakfast.

Then we all got ready to go to Lydney.  Luckily my wife's car is technically a 7 seater, even thou the seats are the back are best for small children, Lee managed to sit in there on the way up, so we only had to take one car. 

We had a great day ate Gary & Elaine's, with lots of lovely food.

And fun family games.   

Then even more food.

Then we all just about managed to fit back in the car and we got home and collapsed, stuffed and  exhausted.
