Day 2706 & 2707 (27 & 28/05/2017)

I was up early to carry on with the never ending amount of work. After a nice breakfast and more work i went over to visit the Wells Comedy Festival, where I had tickets for a couple of Richard Herring shows.

It was nice to force myself out of the office for the day as otherwise I would have stayed at my desk for the whole day.  

 After a break of a few weeks it was back to my Mum & Dads for breakfast on Sunday.

Then back to do some work before having a BBQ, which was partially broken with a rain shower.

With a nice & fat too strong jugs of Pimms.

Did a nice afters of BBQ baked peaches, with crushed amaretto biscuits, meringue & creme fraiche, which was very nice.
 

I know I have been really busy with work this week but I am determined to relax more and spend time in my garden this summer.

A really busy day in the office, non stop, so much work at the moment, if it carries on like this my business partner will no doubt suggest we should employ more people.

Day 2704 (25/05/2017)

Still really busy but had to be out of the office today to have a meeting with a few ex-colleagues to meet with a solicitor in Bristol.

It was a really hot day but my wife told me I had to dress a bit smart, so I was in long trousers, on a really hot day, when I should have been in shorts.

Before the meeting we had a get together over a pizza hut buffet.

Then back to the office to try to catch up with far too much work at the moment.

Woke up to the terrible awful news of the terrorist attack in Manchester.

What a pointless attack on innocent people.

Basically sill very busy in the office catching up with work and not doing much else.

I'm still really busy in the office, catching up with work and not doing much else but voted today in the general election as I have postal ballets.

I used my vote tactically to try and get this woman and the rest of her corrupt scummy friends out of power.

Day 2699 & 2700 (20 & 21/05/2017)

Saturday morning was spent doing loads of work as in the late afternoon we popped into see my mother-in-law and then went to Porthcawl for my uncle Terry's 80th birthday.

 We had quite a nice time and there was fairly nice buffet which is always a result :-)

 

Sunday, with Mum & Dad still in Wales I missed out on my usual croissants but at least I could do a bit more work before going out and dong the shopping for dinner.

I got my wife some nice yellow roses.

And we had sushi for starters.

Followed by a nice roast beef.

Quite a nice day.

We had breakfast with Lee at the hotel, which was nice.

Then Lee had to go, to get ready to go to America, and we waited for Thomas, having some breakfast at a coffee shop down the road.

Then we had a wander around looking at some tourist sites.

Then Thomas went off to watch West Ham in a pub.

And we went off for a nice afternoon tea, with pink champagne, on the 35th floor of The Shard.

 

 

 

 

Then we had a wander around and had a look at HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge.

   

 

 Then back on the tube to go back to the hotel to get our bags.

Then to our car and a drive home after a lovely weekend.

Day 2692 (13/05/2017)

It's my wife's 50th birthday, hard to believe that we first met all those years ago, when she was 17 and I was 16. We hall went for a nice breakfast by Trafalgar Square, where we met up with Thomas.

Then we had a walk around a few land marks, listening to the Guards Band play Les Mis and Beatles tracks at Buckingham Palace.

Due to the NHS Computer hack the previous day the press were outside the cabinet Office and my wife & Lee managed to be live on Sky.

Then back off to the hotel so we could get ready and then off for a nice meal.

Then back to the hotel for my wife's gnome birthday cake, more lattes and cards.

 A fun family day.
