Day 5363 & 5364 (07 & 08/09/2024)

We were up early and then picked up my parents and drove to Romford to visit family for the weekend.  We stopped off on the way for a coffee & roll but made good time.  It is always great to meet up with the family and if we didn't make the effort then my parents would probably get to see them anymore as it is to far for them to drive. 

After a hello and a quick cuppa we checked in to the hotel, which was quite comfortable, before going back for the evening, with lots of food.   

We didn't stay to late but we were still quite tired so had a nice sleep, although we were woken but very loud thunder & lightning during the night. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast at the hotel. 

Then back to Ricky & Christine's.

We left after lunch, after a lovely weekend and got home in the evening, so we could relax.
