Day 4500 (27/04/2022)

The back garden is looking better. 

When Mrs Smith came home we went to the garden for a spot on lunch and to look at some plants.

Then in the evening Thomas came home, so we had a pizza :-)

At work and the gym.

The driveway is looking so much better.

Now to finish it off with some nice large potted plants.

Day 4498 (25/04/2022)

Back at work and back in the office.

And they started work on the driveway. 

Day 4496 & 4497 (23 & 24/04/2022)

Its the weekend and time to relax and catch-up. Tidied the garden a bit in the afternoon.

Looking forward to next week and the garden being done by the workman sorting out the area left free by the removal of the hedge.   

Did a tasty mixed seafood pasta, with crab, prawn and crayfish, for dinner, with a caprice salad and some antipasto on the side :-)

On Sunday I saw my parents for breakfast and as Mrs Smith was home early we had some nice starters.

Then I made a lovely roast beef dinner.

Day 4495 (22/04/2022)

Busy in the office and home for the boiler engineer. So we now have 2/3 of a new boiler, so it was relatively cheap given all the circumstances. Hopefully the boiler will be a lot better now and the bills should be cheaper.

Did a nice prawn cocktail for a late lunch when Mrs Smith came home.

Day 4494 (21/04/2022)

Starting to feel back to normal after our break away.

Had the boiler serviced but it need lots of parts to be replaced as they have broken, it was quite a bit more than we were expecting to spend but reasonable given the circumstances.

Day 4493 (20/04/2022)

Still feeling exhausted and not 100%, so grateful that a trip to London was cancelled.

Nice to wake up in our own bed, exhausted after our long weekend away.

Time to catch-up with work.

Day 4491 (18/04/2022)

Bank Holiday Monday and another lovely breakfast at the hotel. Then a stroll along the seafront before seeing Lee & Tim.

Then in the afternoon came home via Weymouth.

We shared a Portland crab sandwich and some Dorset apple cake .

Day 4489 & 4490 (16 & 17/04/2022)

The weekend started with a lovely breakfast.

Then went for a very long walk along Worthing Seafront, where there are lots of lovely food & drink stands.

Then we met up with Lee and had a nice drink.

And a Mexican.

What an exhausting day.

Sunday breakfast included the option of Easter Eggs & Chocolates :-)

Then another walk around and then off to a gaming cafe, where as well as playing some games we had a few drinks and a bite to eat.

Then we had an Italian in the evening.
