It's the weekend and hopefully the bad weather of the last 2 weeks has now passed. We had an early start then up in Bristol for Children Of The 90's.
Then a little walk on the downs.
We had a Chinese in the evening.
My diary of changing things in my life, my size, fitness, the state of my house and life. Not a big task then.

Another busy day in the office, so no gym again today but I will definitely be go more regularly again soon.
Had some nice fish & chips in the evening.
It was a busy sort of day as I had to go and pick up a laptop and then taker my wife for a physio session, so didn't get too much work done.
Back to work, catching up with emails and stuff and doing a 4 hr online presentation in the afternoon.
We were able to asses the damage after the storm had settled down a bit.
It's annoying but could have been worse and I have someone coming round to sort it out.
In the evening I did a some chicken thighs in pesto, with mushrooms & tomatoes on rice, with asparagus wrapped in Italian ham, quite tasty.
Sunday I saw my parents for breakfast, then we had the builder round to see about the fence, which will cost around £650 to repair & replace :-(
Then I made a lovely roast pork dinner, with some tasty & colourful heritage carrots.
Last day of the course and there was quite a storm over most of the country. Then a slow and careful drive home, where we had lost a few of the new fence panels.
Had a lovely seafood risotto for dinner.
Another day on the course and then had dinner at the hotel.
Had the chicken strips, then the chicken curry.
Another day of training and gave a presentation to students in the late afternoon, then went out for a meal and a drink with people I know from the University.
We went to the local Italian, which I always enjoy.
Second day getting up early, I hate it but its got to be done.
Anyway second day of the course, seems to be going OK.
Met up with an old friend for dinner and had some nice tapas.
Its Valentines Day but my wife is 240 miles away at home and I'm in Preston all week.
I was up early for work, with a nice breakfast and then walking to the room in the rain :-(
Then in the classroom for the first time in 2 years.
In the morning we had a lovely breakfast at the hotel.
Then we had a walk around a very cold & windy Bridport.
Then home for dinner.
On Sunday I saw my Mum & Dad and then made a quick but tasty chicken dinner.
Then a very long drive up to Preston. I have made the journey loads of times before but because of Covid this was the longest drive for two years and felt like it.
I ended up working thru the night as a few cases came in the needed dealing with but I grabbed a few hours in bed in the morning.
In the evening we went off to Bridport for some time away for Valentines Day.
The hotel room and the food was very nice.
