No cooked full English breakfast at home today, so missed the hotel a bit but it was nice to be back home.
I had a meeting at the Holiday Inn in the morning, then when I got home we dropped Thomas off at the train station as he was meeting up with his colleagues for his works Christmas do. Then we went off to Costa and then I went to Tesco's to get stuff for dinner.
We had a really nice fish pie for dinner.
We had breakfast at the hotel, then saw Lee for a little while before leaving Worthing and driving home.
Made a nice vegi escalope, with rice and roasted vegetables for dinner.
We really needed something plain after our week of excess.
After a late and a little bit of a boozy night it was a gentle start to the day. Then off to Hartfield for a bit of a Winnie The Pooh day.
First it was to the bridge where Pooh Sticks was played.
Then an afternoon tea at Pooh Corner tea rooms.
It was really lovely and it was interesting hearing the the true story behind Winnie The Pooh.
Then in the evening we went out fort a quick drink.
It is hard to believe that Lee is 30, it seems only a few years ago we became parents, to this lovely funny individual who we are both so proud of.
We met up with Lee and Tim at lunchtime, to open a few cards & presents and then went off to as local tea rooms for a very lovely and piggy afternoon tea.
It was lovely but far too much, even for me.
Then in the evening we had a few drinks and then a few more.
We all drove down towards Worthing, stopping off at Ikea in Southampton for a some nice lunch and shopping.
Then off to Worthing and we had a really lovely Chinese in the evening.
It's the weekend, which started with a nice breakfast.
First day of our holidays / week-off, and we got rid of some of the stuff that Thomas had been sorting thru, so the house is a little bit tidier.
Had time for a drive thru Costa with my wife but I still had to do some stuff in the office.
A busy day, driving down to Plymouth to do some actual in-person training.
The weekend and my legs have started to improve.
We had a nice vegi breakfast in the morning.
Then my wife had to clear the leaves in the garden, as I couldn't do it and it's garden waste collection this coming week.
We had a very nice Indian take-away on Saturday.
My leg was now both legs and they were so painful but I know the antibiotics will kick-in soon.
Had fish and far too many chips in the evening.
I didn't / couldn't eat them all.

I called the Doctors and managed to get some antibiotics sorted and they soon started to help.
I still had a few things to do but really would have preferred to be lying down in bed all day.
In the office and at the gym.
My good leg started hurting and I should have realised :-(
I spent the evening shivering and feeling awful :-(
A very busy day, off to Dorchester at lunchtime to visit the historic society to view some old papers for a case.
Then a warming stew in the evening.
