Day 4231 & 4232 (31/07 & 01/08/2021)

The weekend, with some time to relax, with plans to fix another chair and make some nice food.

We had a nice breakfast. 

Then I did some work and then went out to the shops to get some stuff for dinner, which was a nice cherry tomato and prawn fresh pasta dish.  

All very tasty, with a few side dishes. 

On Sunday I did a vegi toad in the hole for Thomas and a roast beef for us, quite tasty but not my best.

Another week over and just the right level of work to do.

I was feeling a bit delicate after the second bottle of Prosecco.

We were both still off, so after a relaxing morning we  went off to Fyne Court for a little walk around and a afternoon tea.

Then home and we finished off some left overs for dinner. 

Day 4227 (27/07/2021)

It's my Birthday :-)

We had breakfast at Costa at the marina.

Then we went to Bridgwater, to lay some flowers on Kim's grave. Even after 10 years, it is a day that is so emotional I think we all still think of Kim ever day and miss her so much.  

Then we went to my Mum & Dad's for tea & cake and a chat, then home to relax. 

In the evening we had a nice meal delivered and I may have drunk to much Prosecco.  

Day 4226 (26/07/2021)

Back to work but I only worked in the morning as in the afternoon we were getting ready to go to Portishead for the evening as a pre Birthday celebration, staying overnight in cheap hotel and visiting a nice restaurant.  

We had a few G&T's and cocktails.

With some quite nice food. 

It was a lovely evening. 

Day 4224 & 4225 (24 & 25/07/2021)

A nice fairly relaxing with all 4 of us together, which was really lovely.

Lee opted for a Mexican meal in the evening, which was very nice.

Sunday me and Lee went to see my mum and dad for breakfast which was nice as they hadn't seen them for around a year.

Then I made a nice Sunday roast and then Lee drove home.

It was really great to see them. 

Day 4223 (23/07/2021)

It was a little bit cooler today ahead of the coming storms but it was another busy day in the office.

Did some work which was so good it even surprised me, if it comes off it will be unbelievable. 

In the evening Lee came to visit which was really nice.

Day 4222 (22/07/2021)

It was another really hot day and I had to dress up, well put long trousers and a shirt on, as we were visiting a coroners court to view some files and papers. 

Golly it was hot.

In the evening we were busy so got some small pizza's delivered for dinner.

Day 4221 (21/07/2021)

Another hot day and in the office.

They were watching Love Island, so I was watering garden as it got dark.

It was a lovely super hot week, one of those weeks when it was too hot. So it was safer not to go to the gym during this period. 

In the evening when it was a bit cooler I cut the grass and tidied the garden. 

Day 4217 & 4218 (17 & 18/07/2021)

It's the weekend and we had a nice breakfast to start the day. 

I was watching a Richard Herring podcast and was unbelievably impressed with the early birthday shout which my brother had arranged.  

Thomas went out in the afternoon as his friends were holding a surprise part for him. We went out to buy some things that I needed to repair the dinning room chairs. It was really hot, so we stopped off for a cold drink at Costa.

Then in the evening I did made a macaroni cheese with chorizo, which is a recipe I saw whilst at the gym. 

It was all very tasty, with some nice cheesy & caramelised onion garlic bread. 

On Sunday I went to see my parents and then did a salad with the left overs for dinner. 

Day 4216 (16/07/2021)

It was Thomas's 27th Birthday, so we had a fairly relaxing day whilst Thomas worked.

Not a very grown up breakfast but fun. 

We had a nice light pizza lunch.

Then in the evening we went out for a curry. 

Then home for a Birthday Cake :-)
