Just another wet and windy day with lots of thunder.

My wife made a lovely risotto in the evening but I forgot to take a photo.

 Not so windy today but still like winter out there.

Had a nice breakfast to start the day (well it was brunch really but it was fairly first thing).

What a windy day, blowing thew plants over all day.

In the evening we took my parents out for dinner at the Rumwell Farm Shop, which was very nice.

 Just a wet & windy busy day in the office.

Day 3888 & 3889 (22 & 23/08/2020)

 Its the weekend, which started with a tasty funny face breakfast.

Its been really wet & windy this week and it had blown the tomato plants over again.

I did a nice vegi Chinese in the evening.

Sunday I had breakfast at my Mum & dad's and then in the afternoon made a lovely roast beef dinner. 

And we had a celebrity wine session, finishing the bottle of Kylie and then starting a bottle of Graham Norton.

 Another similar day and had my first proper haircut since March.

 A busy day in the office, zoom meetings and horrible weather outside - these days are all getting a bit similar. 

The tomato plants have shot up.

It was a rather wet start to the weekend.

Plenty to do in the office. In the evening I did a salad with some pesto pasta :-) 

Sunday was fairly relaxing and I made a nice roast lamb dinner. 

And we had a nice bottle of Kylie Rose.

 Another hot day, with meetings and getting my wife's car fixed.

Then there was a bit of rain but not quite a storm, however it made things a bit more bearable.

 A day of meetings and extreme heat, we are in desperate need of a storm.

Had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Well I like kippers but will admit they do tend to say with you for the day, so are an occasional treat only. 

In the evening we went out with my mum & dad for a dinner at The Worlds End, which was nice.

Back to work (as if I ever get a day off anyway).

Took my wife's car to the garage in the afternoon to try and get the washers sorted out. 

Day 3874 & 3875 (08 & 09/08/2020)

It's the weekend and did a few things in the office before spending sometime in the garden. 

Did an Italian mixed sea-food meal in the evening. 

On Sunday I had breakfast with Mum & Dad then made a lovely chicken dinner in the afternoon, with a very nice chilled jug or two on Pimms.

 Another busy day in the office.

We have our driveway back, as our friend collected their caravan.

Now we can have that cleaned.

 Starting to put the garden back to normal.

Hopefully the lawn will recover.
