Day 3835 (30/06/2020)

A fairly early start as we had a zoom meeting with a lady I know in Australia.

Last week when we went to the garden centre we bought some new bird food and since then we have been visited by many more birds, including a couple of woodpeckers.

Then things to in the office and then out for another walk, of just over 3km / 5000 steps.

It's not much compared to what some people do but I am just so unfit but I'm going a bit further every week.

As it was the last day of my wife's holiday we had a Two for Tuesday.

Then some of my wife's honeycomb ice-cream, which I thought was quite nice.

 

   

Day 3834 (29/06/2020)

Back to work, still with the weather being quite mixed.

I did some things in the office and then went for my daily walk, going a bit further this week.

In the evening my wife made honeycomb, to put into some honeycomb ice-cream. It was very tasty and very impressive, so now I can't wait to try the ice-cream but have to wait for it to set.

Day 3832 & 3833 (27 & 28/06/2020)

It is the weekend and the weather has changed quite a bit, not only is it cooler but it was raining on and off. Anyway we had some nice vegi sausage sandwiches for breakfast.

Then after going shopping I made some lovely spinach & ricotta cannelloni for dinner.

 

       

 

 

 

       

 

     

It was bloody lovelly.

 

 

Sunday morning I made a nice breakfast.

Then made a roast chicken dinner.

 

Day 3831 (26/06/2020)

I had somethings to do in the office in the morning, then cut the grass and planted some things in the garden in the afternoon.

 

 

Then we went off to Minehead with Thomas for a walk around. After the crazy scenes at Bournemouth beach Minehead was quite deserted. 

 Then we had some fish and chips on the seafront.

   

   

   
Then we had another walk along the coast, then an ice-cream, which we had in the car to get away from the seagulls.
 

Day 3830 (25/06/2020)

We had a nice breakfast and then went to a local garden centre in the afternoon, where it was really hot.

It wasn't very busy and we bought a few bits (not any of the Wallace Gromit figures) but we needed an ice-cream when we left.

When we got in the car the temperature was showing 38 degrees. 

We then went to see my Mum and Dad, sat in the garden just chatting, which was nice. Then when we got home I did some DIY and drilled a hole to put up a clock we bought for the garden.

Day 3829 (24/06/2020)

We had a healthy breakfast to start the day.

Then it was a very busy day in the office, with an important zoom meeting in the afternoon.

Then out for a walk in the heat on the hottest day of the year, which was exhausting.

Then I did the quiz night in the evening followed by a pizza.

Day 3828 (23/06/2020)

Today is the 36th anniversary of me and my wife meeting.

We had a very nice breakfast.

Then went to Fyne Court for a walk around.

And a nice picnic.

Then back home for a lovely meal from Little Italy.

Day 3827 (22/06/2020)

My wife is off for a week, her second lockdown holiday, with us not being able to go away for a few days. I had work to do but we spent some time relaxing together and I went out for a walk in the sunshine in the afternoon.
