Day 3319 (31/01/2019)

An icy cold start to the day.

With a very spinach laden smoothie due to a lack of fruit :-(

They were bust doing the pavement.

And I had a much needed haircut.

In the evening I wanted to take my wife out for dinner, to try to make the day a bit special and less stressful as it would have been her mum's birthday. I did give her the choice of where to go but we ended up at The Worlds End. 

 Had a lovely goats cheese starter.

I had a pie for mains, with my wife going for the trio of game sausages. 

 

Then I had a nice apple & sultana crumble, with my wife having a mini pud. 

 
We had a nice time but it was snowing quite heavy.

Day 3318 (30/01/2019)

There was a dusting of snow this morning but it soon brightened up.

We were up and out early as we had a funeral to attend of one of my wife's school friends in Bristol. I hate funerals and they are even worse when the people are too young to die.

We got back to Taunton to see my Mum for her birthday, stopping to get a cake & flowers. 

Then we went home and decided ton fish & chips to save cooking. 

Day 3317 (29/01/2019)

A busy day with lots to do. My wife's flowers have come out nice.

I went out in the rain to do a few chores, like the recycling, paying cheques in etc but it didn't go well, as a slipped over at the recycling centre and cut the same knee that I cut falling over the other week.

Plus the floor was wet & really cold. And I ended up bleeding on to the floor whilst waiting at the bank :-(

Day 3316 (28/01/2019)

A busy day in the office, starting with a smoothie.

 

And had beans on toast in the evening.

Day 3314 & 3315 (26 & 27/01/2019)

A chilly weekend, with a few things to do in the office.

Made a nice chilli con carne  in the evening.

Bought my wife some daffodils.

We had some sushi for starters.

Then did a nice roast lamb on Sunday.

Golly its was cold today, even thou the sun was out & quite bright, the ice was really thick on my wife's car.

The rest of the day I was in the office.

A busy day in the office, with so much to do.

Day 3307 & 3308 (19 & 20/01/2019)

I managed to get home at about 12:30 and went asleep quite quickly, which was just as well as I had to be up early as I seeing Richard Herring interview The Goodies, with Gary & Elaine.

I even got to say hello afterwards.

 

We then had a drink and a nice bite to eat afterwards.

I had a slight fall in the car park :-(

When I got home I made a very nice paella.

On the Sunday I was still catching up on my sleep and then had breakfast with my parents and then back home to make a nice roast pork dinner.

Day 3306 (18/01/2019)

I woke up and it was snowing heavily but I had a relaxing morning , with a nice breakfast.

Then I had a meeting with some staff at the bank and then went to the airport, where I had a very underwhelming pizza before flying home.
