Day 3195 & 3196 (29 & 30/09/2018)

An early start as there was football on which Thomas had invited my Dad over for but we had time for breakfast first.

I managed to do some work that had been hanging around for a while and then tidied the garden again, raking the leaves and starting to pack the gnomes away for the winter.

Me and Lee had breakfast at my Mum & Dads on Sunday, then made a nice roast, well more like three different roasts.

Day 3194 (28/09/2018)

A busy day in the office and hopefully good news coming from a meeting that my business partner had.

My wife went shopping in the afternoon and so we had some nice pizzas in the evening.

Day 3193 (27/09/2018)

Another busy day in the office.

Day 3192 (26/09/2018)

Another busy day in the office and I made a nice vegi chilli for us and did chicken wraps for Thomas.

All very tasty.

Day 3191 (25/09/2018)

A busy day as we had to drive into London for Lee and then drive back, so it was a bit of a tiring but worthwhile day.

Day 3190 (24/09/2018)

It was an early start and off to pick up my computer, then do the recycling and stop off at the garage as I was having issues with my key fob.

As my car has key-less locks & ignition, so reasonable important the fob worked and thankfully they changed the battery for free me.

If I had any money on me I may have attempted to buy a cake from the charity cake stand.

Then a busy day in the office.

Day 3188 & 3189 (22 & 23/09/2018)

It was nice to wake up in my own bed after an exhausting few days. Then we had a nice family breakfast then a few things to do, including raking up the leaves in that garden.

I guess I will be doing this every few days now that autumn is here but it feels more like winter.

Saturday I made a simple dinner for us all but made a nice roast on Sunday, with lamb for us, chicken for Thomas and a vegi option for Lee.

All very nice.

Day 3187 (21/09/2018)

An early start and a slow careful drive back from London.

Day 3186 (20/09/2018)

The day started with a nice salmon & cream cheese bagel.

Then a slightly stressful day which wasn't too bad but we had a nice drink and baklava for lunch.

And some nice fish & chips at a posh fish & chip restaurant in the evening.

Had some very nice calamari.

Then my wife had a very nice lobster bisque, whilst I had cod & chips.

Then some nice afters.

Day 3185 (19/09/2018)

It was a busy start to the day, catching up with things and dropping my computer off at the Computer Doctors to get a new hard drive fitted. Then in the afternoon we went to Lndon for Lee.

We had a nice Italian in the evening but sat very close to the pizza oven, so it was very hot and so the wine went down very easily :-)

Day 3184 (18/09/2018)

Starting the day with a nice face breakfast with my wife.

More work in the office in the afternoon.

Day 3183 (17/09/2018)

A busy day in the office and finished the paella off in the evening.

Sunday, 16 September 2018

Day 3181 & 3182 (15 & 16/09/2018)

Busy in the office and a bacon sandwich to start the day.

In the evening I made (well half made) a nice paella and Greek salad for me and my wife whilst Thomas was in Bristol.

Sunday an breakfast at my mum and dads and then made a nice roast pork for dinner with the best crackling ever.

Day 3180 (14/09/2018)

It was a busy day and in the evening I took my wife out to a new fish restaurant in Taunton, called The Albatross. I got Thomas to drop us off & pick us up, so we could relax with a few drinks, which we certainly did.

We started with a glass of Prosecco whilst we decided what to order.

We then shared some oysters, which were very nice.

Then I had John Dory, whilst my wife had fish cakes.

Then my wife had a crème brûlée and had a strawberry Knickerbocker, which was unbelievable. Then we shared a really great cheese board and a glass of Port.

Then we had a latte.

What a meal.
