It's the weekend and I had a bit of a lie-in, then up to take Thomas to the train station, as he was visiting a friend in Manchester. Then we had a relaxing morning and a nice brunch.
In the evening we wert up to Bristol to see family, and they opened a 30 year old Magnum of Lafite Rothschild, which they had originally been given as a gift and was supposedly worth around £7.5k, so I probably drank about £1.5k of red wine, which was OK but probably lost on me, as we normally have a nice bottle of Pinot or Kylie.
Then we had some lovely food.
All very tasty & lovely.
Sunday I saw my parents for breakfast, then home to do some work and then make a nice dinner, with some nice but simple goats cheese & sun-dried tomato bruschetta, with balsamic vinegar for starters.
Then I made a very tasty beef spaghetti bolognaise.
With some leftover chocolate tart from the night before.
