Day 5819 (08/12/2025)

Back to work. 

Day 5817 & 5818 (06 & 07/12/2025)

A wet day in Somerset. We had a brunch and I did some work. 

Then we got ready to meet up with Karen & Steve in Burnham-on-Sea, for a drink and a curry, which was really lovely.    

I saw my parents for breakfast in the morning, then home to do some work, then made some hot honey baked halloumi, on flat bread for dinner.  

Very tasty. 

Day 5816 (05/12/2025)

A few things to do in the morning, then we went out  for an early lunch at Sheppy's, with what was called a fish finger sandwich but in reality was a full battered fish, in a tasty toast sandwich.  

Thankfully we had decide to share the sandwich and a cake. 

In the evening I did the Sea Bass, in a shallot, roasted red pepper, tomato sauce with butterbeans, prawns and olives. 

It was really tasty, even better than the last time I made it.  

Day 5815 (04/12/2025)

Doing some stuff in the office. 

I had my end of year Spotify facts & figures. I 've started using it a bit more this year but mostly listen to podcasts but glad my age on Spotify is lower than in real life, and not too much higher.

My wife did vegi-chicken burgers in the evening. 

Day 5814 (03/12/2025)

I've finished uploading the University material, just have a few more bits to do before all of the training is up to date and ready for next month. 

Then I went to the storage unit, to drop some stuff off and tidy the boxes up. 

In the evening we finished off the pizza, with half a jacket potato and some salad, which was nice.  

 

Day 5813 (02/12/2025)

Another wet day in Taunton, but we had a nice brunch.  

Did some work a few chores.

My wife went on a works Christmas Do in the evening, and unbelievable was running late, so I dropped her off. 

Then home to cook pizza's for me and Thomas. 

Mine was a festive one but I put chilli flakes on it anyway. 

Day 5812 (01/12/2025)

December already, this year has flown by. 

It was a busy day, with some work in the morning, then as I needed the car, I took my wife to work, then went to the gym. 

Then home for a shower and then out to pick my Dad up to take him to the eye clinic, which normally taken 20 minutes but today, it was packed and took nearly 2 1/2 hours. It was dark and very wet by the time we left the eye clinic and we were running so late, we had to pick my wife up from work, as she had been waiting for over 30minutes. 

Then home for a very late lunch / early dinner, finishing off the last of the Mexican.  

And to open my advent calendar. 

  

Day 5810 & 5811 (29 & 30/11/2025)

The weekend, and after a tasty brunch, I started to tidy the garden and collect a few more leaves before the rain came down. 

In the evening, on Thomas's suggestion, I made a prawn cocktail starter.

Then as nice vegi spaghetti bolognaise. 

Very tasty, with a nice glass of G&T. 

On Sunday I saw my parents and Aunty Carol for breakfast. 

Then home, with fresh flowers for my wife. 

And I made a tasty roast beef dinner for us. 

Very nice, with a glass of fizz.
