Golly the weekend, again, plus the end of the month. Must make time to relax this weekend.
We had an Indian take away in the evening which was very nice.
My diary of changing things in my life, my size, fitness, the state of my house and life. Not a big task then.
Golly the weekend, again, plus the end of the month. Must make time to relax this weekend.
We had an Indian take away in the evening which was very nice.
Another day doing an online course for the University, seems to be going OK but miss the personal contact of a classroom.
Another busy day in the office in lockdown.
Spooky time, my blue-tooth speaker must have been paired with someone's doorbell and device, as I keep getting the sound of phantom doorbell rings coming out of it and then this evening I had someone playing keyboards for a few minutes. Most odd.
A bust morning, off to the recycling centre for the first time in a yerar, as the boot was full of bags of shredded paper.
Then off to the garage for a service and MOT.
I found some fish in the freezer and was really excited to make a nice dinner.
It's the weekend, with lots to do but trying to relax a bit. Had some nice vegi bacon and fried egg sandwiches in the morning.
Then I did burgers & hotdogs in the evening.
I did lamb shanks on Sunday.
A busy in the office as started presenting the University course online today.
A busy day in the office and on zoom but we had a nice breakfast to start.
My wife decided to do some health spinach pancakes.
Thankfully we had a proper pancake afterwards.
It's the weekend and although I have things that need doing, I am trying to spend some time with my wife.
We thought we would treat ourselves to a take away but every we tried to order from online was unavailable, which was probably just because they were busy. So in the end we had a nice Greek thing, which took 2 hours to arrive, was tasty but could have been warmer with a bit less onion & garlic.
I felt a bit rough after the jab but it was no different to feeling rough because of old age, I'm just glad to start being protected but desperately want everyone else vaccinated as well so we can start getting back to normal.
A busy day in the office but I made a quick but very tasty lunch, with some left over fresh pasta from the weekend, with some chorizo, mushrooms & tomatoes and then finished off with some goats cheese & olives, very tasty.
All very well organised by the NHS, not the government, who have fucked up with everything they have done and everything they have failed to do, when dealing with the pandemic.
Well it appears we had a very little bit of snow overnight.
Lots of other places are having real trouble with the snow but we have managed to escape most of it.
I got a call from my Doctors surgery in the evening, it appears that I am technical old & vulnerable, so having my first jab tomorrow.
The weekend is her with things to do but made some family time. We popped into Bridgwater and put a very dirty car through a car wash. Who would have thought a year ago that going through a car wash would have been the most memorable act of your week. How things have changed.
Inspired by a viral video online, I made a fresh pasta dish with baked feta & tomatoes, with added salmon & prawns.
